Wonderful Monday

On Monday afternoon fashionably yours was off, so went out with my dearie. He was also clearing his leave. So off we went to UE square for a drink in the afternoon at Lucie Mama. I had a cranberry vodka while dearie had two bottles of corona beer. Nice to chill out with him on a hot afternoon this way.

After we were done at UE square, we strolled to Clark Quay for another drink. We were bar hopping on a Monday afternoon. Well my dearie loves drinking so we started our happy hours so early on a Monday afternoon. On the way to Clark Quay, dearie bought his favourite mixed olive from The Wine Connection. That makes him a happy boy jumping with joy. My dearie is so cute and I can't help laughing at him.

We had a wonderful and spent quality time together, chatted alot while drinking a lot too. It was raining while we were at Harry's bar. I love the rain and nice and cooling weather. We enjoyed each other's company. Thanks dearie and I really enjoyed our conversation.

1st Saturday of March 2009

The weekend is here....Hurray ! finally can take a good break to recharge. Let down our hair and do whatever we want. It has been raining since this morning, but fashionably yours is enjoying this nice and cooling weather.

Yesterday had McValue lunch with Yuan-san, Seng-san, Lemon-san and Dylan-san. It was fun hanging out with the guys. Lots of laughters and was fun. Thanks guys. Love you all. *hugs*. They never fail to bring laughters to my life. Life would not be the same without them. It really makes a difference to my working life. Thank God for sending these wonderful angels to my life.

After we had our lunch, fashionably yours had some retail therapy before heading out to HMV with Lemon-san. We were looking for some earpiece. Finally we decided to go to Best Denki at Ngee Ann City and bought my panasonic earpiece while Lemon-san bought a headphone which I cannot remember the brand. Thereafter we returned to office to work for the rest of the Friday afternoon.

It was nice to work at Orchard Road because it doesn't make me feel like I am working. Sometimes I am wondering I am at Orchard Road to work or leisure. Afterall, most of the time, I will work and have leisure at the same time. I will relax during my lunch break at the mall nearby and chill out at The Paragon. Also can have some retail therapy during lunch break, especially during SALES, since already at Orchard since early in the morning.

Well having said so much, time for me to go for some drinks......would love to drink some red wine and beer to chill out on this nice and cooling night, while enjoying the cool breeze and gazing at the night sky. Life is beautiful.

Pedicure

OMG ! it is now Tuesday and middle of February 2009. How times flew past and Monday just flew past us like that....No Monday blues, was rather relax mood at work though.

Fashionably yours just had my pedicure done at the salon. Feel good and relax to indulge in my pedicure session. My toes are now painted in a shade of plum and I love the purplish colour...so shimmering and so lavender like....very peaceful and calm feeling looking at it. Loving it:)

The weather is so hot and humid nowadays. So drinking ice cold beer to quench my thirst now.....Oh la la....so shiok ! Have a nice week ahead everyone.

Third day of CNY & also 3rd day of the year of the Ox

Today is the third day of CNY and fashionably yours is off today to continue to enjoy the CNY. Still in CNY mood. Over enjoying myself with my families and love ones. It is nice to catch up with each other over good food and yummy CNY cookies with lots of laughters. Still have visitors coming over to our place for visiting today and we also did some more visitings today.

After our visitings are done, fashionably yours chill out at my favourite hangout. Yes, at Holland Village. Love the place.

Just now I just came to know that there was a naked couple who paraded along Lorong Mambong at Holland Village last Saturday night at about 2300 hour. It was a caucasian man with her Singaporean woman, believed to be in their 20s. Both were arrested an hour later by police and now are out on police bail while investigations are being carried out. Fashionably yours really loves her naked body too but will never display her naked body in public. However I don't mind to do it at the naked beach in Europe. It is against the law to be seen naked in the public in Singapore. If anyone found naked in the public in Singapore, can be fined up to SGD2,o00 or jail up to 3 months or both. Actually I was telling myself how come I was not at Holland Village last Saturday night to witness this naked scene. I missed it. I was busy preparing for CNY.

Glad fashionably yours has time to chill out now after all the visitings and meet the relatives session. Will be munching on more BBQ pork and pineapple tarts, as well as down with some beer and wine.

Throat infections

Fashionably yours has throat infections after I swallowed some mini fish bones and/or rice husks last week. They are still inside my throat....on and off feel uncomfortable. Also caught the flu viruses from my colleagues at work. So many people in my office are falling ill, one after another. I must have caught the flu viruses from Yuan-san & Seng-san because the other day we shared the same soup and same spoon at Fish & Co. Actually I am alright and have been strong the last few days until my throat infections. Prescribed some anti-biotics by the company doctor this morning for my throat infections. Hope it will heal my throat and hope the mini fishbone and rice husk quickly make their way down from my throat......otherwise I may need to see my company doctor for further examination. Praying very hard to God to heal my throat.

Am feeling so tired and have a headache now. I also have been working very hard the last few weeks, staring at the monitor for about 8 hours every day. So many projects in the pipelines for me....bad recession ? I don't think so, I have so many projects to do and it is all major projects. Seems like I am being involved in lots of projects this year, even small projects also invovled abit here and there. Work stress is building up. For now, I need to rest, sleep alot and drink lots of fluid. I am yearning for a can of beer. I cannot eat chocolates now. Sob Sob......

God I pray that I just want my throat to recover soonest possible and I will be a very happy girl. Amen.

1st week of 2009

Phew ! 1st week of 2009 just passed. I worked and worked for the past one week. Seems like not much going on except lots of work. Of course enjoyed chilling out with my wonderful buddies. Guess I am missing on the social front, which is generally quiet around this time. It is more vibrant after March 2009 generally. I feel so tired after the hectic week at work, that I just want to have lots of sleep over the weekends. I need to recharge which is such a luxury to me.

I tell myself it is good to be busy at work especially now the economy is so bad. Blessed to have a job now and keep me so busy that I don't have time to go to the washroom. Read from newspaper that many people are out of jobs and Mediacorp is going to implement shorter work week, for cost cutting measures. Looks like 2009 is going to be a tough year ahead so everyone must be ready to ride through it.......it is gonna be worst. May have more retrenchment and recruitment freeze. Nevertheless, be positive, hang on and keep going. Will see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.

The bungalow opposite my house is having some private party now. The music is blasting so loud and I can hear the party goers are having a great time. I think the music will blast into the wee hours which is fine with me, afterall it is the weekend and time to let down the hair and have fun.

I feel so bliss

Life is great...Thank God for the blessings and fashionably yours is counting my blessings. I feel so bliss :)

Despite my hectic, stressful and busy schedule, I will find time to enjoy and live life to the fullest.

I love drinking beer....It helps me to relax and unwind. I wanna drink my favourite Carlsberg beer but it is out of stock at the supermarket. Ended up drinking Oranjeboom beer now and it is my first time drinking it. Not bad for the cheaper price compared to Carlsberg.....but give me a can of Carlsberg anytime please.

I am becoming Mrs Big

OMG ! I am becoming Mrs Big. My big is married to his job and here fashionably yours seems to be married to my job too....so we are on par....2 busy people married to our job. I am so busy with work till I don't feel like talking. My mind is just so engrossed with my work....I have no time to go home nor go to the washroom.

Fashionably yours worked till 2200 hour in the office on a Friday night. I still cannot finish my work, so I brought my work home to do them over the weekends. Phew ! finally I just finished what need to be done. Thank God, I can rest on Sunday, though I burnt my Saturday working. At least I have a sense of accomplishment when getting my tasks completed.

I understand how it feels when you have reports to do and tight dateline. I simply have no mood for other things. Just leave me alone to do my work. The mind will be keep thinking about the reports and works.....that is exactly how my big feel every time. He has so many works to do. Times are bad so cannot employ additional manpower to help him. Next week is gonna be another hectic and stressful week for fashionably yours.

Alrighty, fashionably yours need to have a good rest now, after all my hard work. Now I want a can of beer to relax and unwind myself.
