Last week bought these from The Body Shop, enjoying 30% discount from my Star Loyalty Members promotions, which was valid from 20 - 26 Sep 2010.

On top of that I am a F1 ticket holders, so when I spent SGD120 nett at Centrepoint Shopping Mall, I can get a SGD10 Centrepoint voucher.  Fashionably yours also received a SGD20 voucher from The Body Shop since they are giving SGD20 voucher for customers who spent SGD80 nett.   I redeemed a bottle of Vitamin E face mist with the SGD20 voucher.

Beautiful Sunday

The weather is super hot nowadays and is as hot as up to 35 degree celsius.  Thus making me sweating like mad most of the time.  Thank God, it rained yesterday and today making the weather so nice and cooling.  Loving it.  I don't wish Sunday to end so fast especially with this nice and cooling weather. 

Fashionably yours watched two movies this weekend.  Yesterday I watched a Japanese movie Nada Sou Sou and today I watched an English movie Freaky Friday.  Though they are old movies, I enjoyed watching it and so relaxing.   Of course I managed to squeeze some time for a short afternoon nap in this nice and cooling weather just now.  Such a luxury.  Bliss.

Fashionably yours is so British at heart. I love drinking my hot cup of tea everyday.  The other day, I bought Dilmah Elegant Earl Grey from my favourite supermarket at The Marekt Place at The Paragon.

Shoppings

On Tuesday, went to Isetan to buy my Ettusais night time defense powder.  I didn't know I have run out of my face powder till when I want to use it.  That shows how busy I am with my life that I didn't know I have run out of face powder at the eleventh hour.  One good thing is I am working in Orchard, so is just a hop away to get my face powder during my lunch hour.

Today fashionably yours went to The Body Shop Warehouse Sales at Suntec City. It was not so crowded when I reached there at about 3pm, so I shopped happily.  It took me about 30 minutes to get what I need.  Such a breeze.   The sales is till this Sunday. 

OMG ! Suntec City is so crowded because so many people went to the IT show.  It was only a Thursday afternoon and the IT Show is already so pack, cannot imagine the crowds over the weekend at the IT Show.  These few days better avoid going Suntec. Can't stand the crowds.  I saw a lot of people purchased printers and LCD Screen at the IT show.  

After my shoppings are done, proceed to Starbucks to enjoy my favourite drink - Raspberry Blackcurrant.

My purchases from the Body Shop Warehouse sales

Fashionably yours bought one tub of Spa Wisdom, 3 tubs of Honey and Oak Mask, 2 eyeliner, a blusher brush and half a dozen of tea tree oil.  These are what I need. Once I grabbed what I need, I proceed to cashier to make payment and get out of the sales.  I paid about SGD168 in total at the sales.  I am applying the Honey and Oak Mask now while blogging. I really like the emerald shade of eye liner which I just used it this afternoon. 

Actually there are some other items that I want to buy but they are not on sales, so I will buy it at the store.  Besides I still have rebates to use before they expired by end of this month. 

These few days I can smell the burning smell in the air.  Seems like the PSI readings is about 53.  The air is bad and the haze is back.  I am having watery eyes today and just sneezed. I hate the haze and air pollution.  Such a hazard to my eyes and nose.

My long weekends starts today till next Monday.  Yes we are all clearing leave as complying to our company policy to clear all our last year annual leave by end of March which is the close of our financial year.  Thus everybody is busy clearing work and clearing leave now in our office.

The Body Shop Bazaar

Some backdated updates.  3 Friday ago, was at The Body Shop Bazaar at Plaza Singapura.  It was so crowded and lots of good bargains.  Fashionably yours quened up for about 30 minutes to make payment at the cashier counter.  Shall let the pictures do the talking.

Bought above SGD80 will entitled each customer to SGD20 bodyshop voucher to be used at Plaza Singapura outlet only.  Besides there is a free gift of a bodyscrub, shower gel and a pouch.  Fashionably yours got all the free gifts and the SGD20 voucher.  I would say this bazaar is quite similar to their warehouse sales because the prices are comparable.  I only bought what I need.  The honey and oat facial mask is good and I like the Vitamin E facial mask too.  I also bought the spa wisdom body scrub which was the special offer of the day....Yippee good bargains and I am a happy girl.  Confession of a true blue shopaholic looking for good bargains.

Well hope everyone had a nice weekends, be it shoppings, chilling out with friends or at home. Seems like the weeekends passed us so very fast and the weekdays has arrived. It is Monday today and I hope no Monday blues for you. Even if you have a bad day or Monday blues, it is soon gonna be over because Tuesday is approaching soon and also the last day of March 2009. April 1st is April Fool's day. Be careful, don't be fooled. Even if being fooled, just have fun then. Life is too short to take it too seriously. Just laughed it off and life will be happier.

Everybody is clearing leave before our Financial Year end close, as required by my company. Fashionably yours is also clearing leave, so took the afternoon off today. Had lunch with Lemon-san. Thereafter we chilled out at the Paragon, chatted and laughed over drinks. Also dropped by for some official errands at Ngee Ann city before fashionably yours headed home sweet home, while Lemon-san headed back to the office.

Since fashionably yours was at Ngee Ann city, so decided to drop by Sephora to get my double compact mineral powder. It is my first time trying it out. Has anyone of you tried it ? If yes, please share with me your feedback. Thanks.

Fashionably yours passed by Holland V this afternoon and it was so quiet. I had a lovely afternoon. Very leisure and relaxing..........had a short nap on this nice and cooling weather once I reached home in the afternoon. Loving it. It is nice to have quiet afternoon.

SHOPPINGS, IT SHOW 2009 & DINNER

Fashionably yours has been very busy recently. So many things to do and time not enough. Was invited to attend a private event today but really very busy that I have to give the event a miss. Alrighty, some updates for my blog and here goes.....it is rather photo-intensive though.

Since fashionably yours need to clear leave, so I took afternoon leave on Thursday to meet up with Bestie, who was also on leave that day. There are so many SALES on going recently. We went to Isetan Private Sales. I bought my skin care products from Clarins and Fancl. It was not so crowded and doesn't seems like SALES was going on. The quene were not that long. Maybe times are bad that consumers are holding back purchases that even SALES are not that attractive anymore. Perhaps, times are bad now and retailers need to boost sales so they are having more SALES to attract shoppers.

Again, the quene to the cashier was not that long....so it was a breeze queneing up to pay for the book. Our next destination is Suntec City because we want to go to the IT Show. It was a hot afternoon, so we took a bus to Suntec City. Once we reached Suntec City, we went to the Bodyshop warehouse sales. Wow ! no quene to enter the warehouse and no quene to make payment at the cashier, though quite crowded at the sales.

Finally we proceed to the IT show 2009

It was very crowded at the IT Show 2009 though it was just the first day. In fact, the whole Suntec City was very crowded and human jam. I am looking for a mini notebook and bestie is looking for a laser printer. We browsed and collected lots of brochures. After making our rounds, we discussed. I decided not to buy my mini notebook for the time being because I don't want to pay such a high price (about SGD700) for just simple function mini notebook with no built-in DVD drive and the screen is too small for me. The most I would be comfortable with is the 10 inch mini notebook. I still love my current HP Entertainment notebook, tablet pc though the battery life is short and need charging regularly. Well save me some money now. Maybe will consider to buy my mini notebook when the price drops a few month down the road. I like the Acer Aspire One AOD150 and the BenQ mini notebook. However not sure how stable is BenQ mini notebook. My dear weblogders, feel free to share with me your mini notebook experience on Acer and/or BenQ. Many Thanks.

After walking and squeezing with the crowds at the IT show, both of us were so tired and hungry, so time for foodie. We settled for Japanese food at Ichiban Boshi.

It was yummy.....loving the food especially the salmon sashimi, which I find is fresh. It was home sweet home after satisfying our stomach. Besides it was late and we need to work the next day, which is Friday the 13th.

On Friday lunch hour, fashionably yours hit the malls again.....more retail therapy. Actually had tea with Lemon-san in the afternoon. Thereafter he was so sweet to accompany me shopping. Went to Isetan to buy my Fancl products using the Isetan rebate voucher, so help me to save some money. Bought the new formula MCO which just launched on Friday the 13th. I like the MCO which I find is very good to cleanse my make up.

Tai Tai Lifestyle

TGIW....Thank God It is Wednesday. Fashionably yours can hear the weekend's footstep is getting closer. Well well well, leading the tai-tai lifestyle for these two days. Yesterday and today took off in the afternoon from work to rest and relax. Yesterday was on a shopping spree. Bought some toiletries from Robinsons and bought my favourite body wash and body lotions from Crabtree and Evelyn.

In fact fashionably yours have not been shopping for the last few weeks, so yesterday was kinda of make-up retail therapy. Dropped by Gucci yesterday and the sales personnel was so warmth to me. Saw a pair of Gucci's heels but did not buy because it is about 4 inches high, though it is nice....maybe will buy it when it is on sales, provided it has my size. I am still thinking about the Ferragamo's heels.....hmmm.....must try to drop by Manolo Blahnik someday to buy my heels.

Today went to the spa for my full body massage and facial on a lovely Wednesday afternoon. Loving it. Now I look so radiant after the facial and feel so good after the body massage. I am gonna be very busy at work for the next two months because financial year end closing and need to prepare for new financial year stuffy too. I am ready to tackle the battle which will be very stressful.

After I am done with my body massage and facial, felt so hungry, so decided to drink my favourite mushroom soup at the Soup Spoon at the Paragon, which is also my babyface's favourite place. We love drinking soup. After fashionably yours's stomach was satisfied, indulge in some retail therapy. Came across the Body Shop new RoseFlower Make-Up collection. Bought the Rose Blusher and RoseFlower Radiance Stick.

So I had my retail therapy, body massage and facial done. I am a happy girl....or rather a happy tai-tai lifestyle. Tomorrow will be going for coffee with the guys and have lots of fun & laughters over lunch with them.
