Fashionably yours love to drink tea and a tea lover.  Tea has antioxidant and help one to relax.  My favourite tea are peppermint, camomile, green tea, harrods apple tea, lipton blue fruit tea, dilmah elegant earl grey and rooibos tea.  I must drink my hot cup of tea everyday.  What is your favourite tea ?  feel free to share with me.

Shoppings and Dinner

Shopping happily on Wednesday with bestie.  Shopaholics at the malls. It was also Isetan Private Sales.  Met bestie at Isetan Scotts.  She bought toys for her nephews while fashionably yours bought a new pair of Guess shades.  My last shade was bought a few years ago, so time for me to buy a new pair for the new decade 2011. 

Thereafter we shopped at Wisma Atria.  Fashionably yours bought some toiletries (masks and sunblock)from The Body Shop.  Also bought a new blouse from my favourite Bebe boutique and two sexy long maxi dresses from a shop in basement 1. 

We had dinner at our favourite restaurant - Royal Copenhagen at Takashimaya shopping centre level 2.  The staff there recognise us since we are regulars there.  It feels like we are at our 2nd home, feels very welcome, comfortable and warmth.

After we had our dinner, we continue shoppings at Takashimaya and Watsons.  Fashionably yours bought some vitamins from Watsons before we call it a night and head home sweet home. 

Feel very happy with my shoppings and dinner.   

Shoppings

Did my grocery shoppings at Isetan Supermarket last week.  Bought Vermont apple vinegar, some Japanese  instant noodles and some cans of Japanese tuna flakes for my sandwiches.  The instant noodles tasted very yummy especially the soup base. It is different from our normal instant noodles.

Loving these two flavour of  tea.  Yum...yum...

Shoppings and Dinner

This is a long overdue update......last 2 Thursday ago, met up with Bestie for dinner at Sun with Moon at Wheelock Place. We actually wanted to eat dinner first then shopping at Isetan Sales since they have 10% discount for cardmembers. When bestie reached Sun with Moon, she found out it was full house and they can only give us a table for two around 8pm. Bestie called me on my mobile phone to inform me on this while I was on my way to Wheelock Place, so we decided to shop at Isetan first while they keep us on the waiting list.

We shopped at Isetan and I bought some heels sole grip and cusion while bestie bought some stationeries. Fashionably yours also bought my favourite Chanel nail polish and I am a happy girl. We tried on some heels at the shoe department. Bestie commented the dumb sales girl there really pissed her off. One salesgirl at the shoe department is really dumb, she doesn't know how to give opinions to customers, simply just asked you for your shoe sizes and pass the shoe sizes for customers to try. Finally the staff from Sun with Moon called us so we hurried over to eat our dinner.

Their services are fast and we quite like the food there. We love their salmon and tuna sashimi at Chijmes. It is very very fresh which we ate the other time when we were there.

TGIF....yes the weekend is here. So happy duppy. Fashionably yours has been shoppings and shoppings for the last two days and counting.

L'oreal is having this beauty sale, similar to warehouse sales at Concorde Hotel (formerly Le Meriden Hotel, Orchard) from 13 May to 15 May 2009 (3 days only), from 10am to 8pm. I was there on Wednesday - the first day of the beauty sale. It was very crowded and long quene to the cashiers, but very cheap so worth queneing and buying, discount up to 85%. Yesterday was Isetan Private sales for cardmembers. Fashionably yours went to buy my skincare products and some lingeries though lingerie is not on discount. There is 10% rebates beauty voucher when you spent minimum SGD100 nett and subsequent SGD50 nett on beauty products to redeem the rebates voucher.

So much so about sales, there is still some time for you to head down to the L'oreal beauty sales today to get some good bargains. They have cosmetics, shampoo, conditioner, skin care and body care products at the L'oreal beauty sales.

SHOPPINGS, IT SHOW 2009 & DINNER

Fashionably yours has been very busy recently. So many things to do and time not enough. Was invited to attend a private event today but really very busy that I have to give the event a miss. Alrighty, some updates for my blog and here goes.....it is rather photo-intensive though.

Since fashionably yours need to clear leave, so I took afternoon leave on Thursday to meet up with Bestie, who was also on leave that day. There are so many SALES on going recently. We went to Isetan Private Sales. I bought my skin care products from Clarins and Fancl. It was not so crowded and doesn't seems like SALES was going on. The quene were not that long. Maybe times are bad that consumers are holding back purchases that even SALES are not that attractive anymore. Perhaps, times are bad now and retailers need to boost sales so they are having more SALES to attract shoppers.

Fashionably yours had a bill of over SGD200 for beauty products, so entitled to redeem a SGD20 Isetan rebates voucher for next purchase. For every SGD100 spent on beauty products, customers can redeem a 10% rebate Isetan Voucher during the Private sales.

Thereafter met Bestie who was waiting for me at Kinokuniya. She reserved a book so went to collect it and also to enjoy my 20% discount for Kinokuniya Privilege Card member. Again, the quene to the cashier was not that long....so it was a breeze queneing up to pay for the book. Our next destination is Suntec City because we want to go to the IT Show. It was a hot afternoon, so we took a bus to Suntec City. Once we reached Suntec City, we went to the Bodyshop warehouse sales. Wow ! no quene to enter the warehouse and no quene to make payment at the cashier, though quite crowded at the sales.

Finally we proceed to the IT show 2009

It was very crowded at the IT Show 2009 though it was just the first day. In fact, the whole Suntec City was very crowded and human jam. I am looking for a mini notebook and bestie is looking for a laser printer. We browsed and collected lots of brochures. After making our rounds, we discussed. I decided not to buy my mini notebook for the time being because I don't want to pay such a high price (about SGD700) for just simple function mini notebook with no built-in DVD drive and the screen is too small for me. The most I would be comfortable with is the 10 inch mini notebook. I still love my current HP Entertainment notebook, tablet pc though the battery life is short and need charging regularly. Well save me some money now. Maybe will consider to buy my mini notebook when the price drops a few month down the road. I like the Acer Aspire One AOD150 and the BenQ mini notebook. However not sure how stable is BenQ mini notebook. My dear weblogders, feel free to share with me your mini notebook experience on Acer and/or BenQ. Many Thanks.

After walking and squeezing with the crowds at the IT show, both of us were so tired and hungry, so time for foodie. We settled for Japanese food at Ichiban Boshi.

It was yummy.....loving the food especially the salmon sashimi, which I find is fresh. It was home sweet home after satisfying our stomach. Besides it was late and we need to work the next day, which is Friday the 13th.

On Friday lunch hour, fashionably yours hit the malls again.....more retail therapy. Actually had tea with Lemon-san in the afternoon. Thereafter he was so sweet to accompany me shopping. Went to Isetan to buy my Fancl products using the Isetan rebate voucher, so help me to save some money. Bought the new formula MCO which just launched on Friday the 13th. I like the MCO which I find is very good to cleanse my make up.

The Shopaholic in me shops happily at the malls. The retailers told me they need customers like me. Oops...confessions of a shopaholic here. I am a happy girl and happy with my purchases because there are so many free gifts wtih my purchases.....I love free gifts. Fashionably yours also dropped by Kinokuniya to buy Reader's Digest using my card to enjoy the 20% discounts.

Funny Me The Princess

Last evening went shopping with Eva-san. She bought her cutie mousie Braun Buffel pouch and a small black pouch from Radley at Isetan Scotts. She wanted to use them as her lunch time bag. Both are nice and cute. Think she is happy with her purchases.

Actually she wanted to buy a white blouse but still did not manage to find a white blouse that she fancies. We have been shopping around for a while together since last Friday and to no avail. However we bought lots of cosmetics and skin care.

After our shoppings at Isetan Scotts last evening, we went to eat dinner at MOS burger. Funny thing happened at MOS burger. We ordered the chilli dog value meal. I changed the drinks to clam chowder soup and have ice water. After I ordered the food, the crew member asked me to wait for my chilli dog and they will bring it to my seat. So I went back to my seat to drink my clam chowder soup, while waiting for them to serve me my chilli dog.

While drinking my clam chowder soup, the crew served me my chilli dog shortly. Then I realized they did not give me any serviette, so I asked him to bring to me some serviette. I happily ate my chilli dog and realized that I am running out of chilli sauce for my French fries. I wanted to wave to the crew to bring me some more chilli sauce. Then I hesitated and asked Eva-san. Our conversation :

Me : I need some more chilli sauce, do I ask the crew to bring me some ? or go to the counter to take myself ?
Eva : This is MOS burger, we don’t pay service charge. You must go to the counter to take chilli sauce yourself. This is not restaurant. You really are princess, everything must serve to you.

Then both of us laughed. I find that I am so funny, what a question to ask. I did not go to the counter to take some more chilli sauce because Eva-san has one extra packet of chilli sauce, so I just use that. I think I too long did not go to eat fast food, so forgot all about self service. Still thinking I am dining at restaurant (tongue sticking out) and everything served by the waiters and waitresses. Funny me !
