Foot Injury

Fashionably yours injured my right foot since last weekend. Had tripped in my bathroom kerb and bear with the pain till Wednesday then went to see company doctor. Doctor said I had sprained my foot.  Given some pain killers and went home to rest.  However the pain got worst on Thursday dawn at 4am that it woke me up.  Can you imagine fashionably yours woke up at 4am and sitting in my hall popping pain killers while most of you are zzzzzz......This painful foot also gave me fever.  In pain and having fever is no joke.  I was so tired that I couldn't go to work so decided to see doctor on Thursday since I had fever.

Went to polyclinic to consult the doctor and was told no need to xray.  Don't think there is any fracture and even if there is, should be a hair line crack. The only cure is go home to rest, less walking and rest, rest, rest in order to recover faster.  So was given two days of medical leave to rest at home plus tons of painkillers.

Since I am feeling so miserable and tired due to the pain, decided to have some comfy food.  Had my favourite comfy yummy sliced fish bee hoon soup for lunch on Thursday.  It seems to cheer me up a little.

Then I had a packet of my favourite M & M chocolates which lifts my mood a little more.

After my lunch and M  & M chocolates, had a good rest and nap in the afternoon. So I am a good girl following the doctor's instruction.  It was evening by the time I woke up so I looked out of my window.  Saw the beautiful sunset and took the snapshot below.

Beautiful sky in the evening

Well, fashionably yours is now in a relationship with pain killers because have been popping them since my foot injury.  I know it is bad to take too much pain killers. Will try to bear with the pain and reduce popping pain killers.  I have been siting down too much and having back ache.....sigh.....wish my foot faster recover.  The doctor said it takes at least a week.  Looking forward to that day so that I can wear my favourite and comfy pair of ferragamo heels again.  For now, I have to  wear my comfy pair of  fit flop everywhere.

Stomach Smoother Tea

Was chilling out at The Paragon this afternoon. Had tea with Lemon-san. Thereafter went for grocery shopping at the Market Place. Fashionably yours love chilling out at The Paragon, which is my favourite mall. I also love to shop at the Market Place because I can find most of the stuff I want here. Bought a packet of tea and the brand is Teekanne which is of high-quality tea. Wonder has anyone of you tried before this brand ? I just drank a packet and it is not bad.

It is a herbal tea blended to give our digestive system all all-natural relief. Rooibos, Camomile, Aniseed and Fennel work together to settle the stomach while Spearmint and Peppermint give this comforting tea a refreshing and pleasant aroma. Liquorice Root and Blackberry Leaves add harmony to refine the special taste.

Fashionably yours was fed so many stuff today at work. Had potato chips, chocolates, gummy sweets and macademia nuts which is my favourite. Thank God for sending these wonderful angels to feed my stomach with so many nice goodies. Yummy.

Lazy Sunday

It is a raining Sunday and the weather is so so so nice and cooling. Loving it. Love this type of nice and cooling weather when I am lazing at home, just doing what I wanna do. It is such a luxury to be enjoying this type of quiet and lazy Sunday. Yes my very own Me-Time, though get disturbances by the boy, my babyface, here and there. It is not that bad though. He is just too cute.

Ate my favourite bar of Ritter Sport Chocolate-ty while
watching the rain drops falling from my window
Nice feeling and loving it
makes me a happy girl

Yes we are now entering March 2009, which means fashionably yours is gonna be so busy for the next two months due to the Financial Year end closing and beginning of new Financial Year. Many reports to do and long long long working hours for me. Was grumbling to babyface about it and he is so good in consoling me, asking me not to think about it....soon May 2009 will be here. OK I know I am gonna be busy for the next two months which is a good thing in view of the bad economy now. Will not think so much about it, just do whatever I can and do my best. My colleagues are gonna be so stressed up by me too for the next two months....they will be avoiding me because it means lots of works for them from fashionably yours. Shoot shoot shoot emails to them.....make them panic and stressed up with tight deadline....do until they need to take panadol. Yes, that is how serious it will get....no kidding....tough job, not easy to work with me who has an eye for details and so strict with work.
It is still drizzling while fashionably yours is blogging now. Think nice weather to snuggle under the duvet tonight.....nice weather is making me getting more and more lazy....don't feel like getting up once lying down on my bed.
How was your Sunday ? Hope everyone have a beautiful and enjoyable Sunday. Have a nice week ahead.

Lovely night out on town

TGIF.....The festive seasons is here....party mood and holi holday....It is holi holidaze for fashionably yours. The weather is cooling today. Actually supposed to be out and about in town today but due to fashionably yours have been sleeping so much of my time, that alot of things are piling up, so have to stay at home to get things going. Had a wonderful time yesterday with a wonderful man. He is so sweet to me and is spoiling me.

We first met on this Alkaff bridge at Robertson Quay. This is such a beautiful and colourful bridge.

The Alkaff Bridge (Art Bridge)

We had dinner at the Zen Japanese Restaurant. We love to eat Japanese food especially the fresh sashimi. Z’en Japanese Cuisine (205 River Valley Road #01-75 UE Square),
The Z'en Japanese Cuisine
The salad

The very fresh sashimi, our green tea and sake Tempura

It has nice atmoshpere and lots of Japanese were dining there. After we are done with our Japanese food, we went for our drinks and desserts at Le Amis’s Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolatier (11 Unity Street, Robertson Walk #01-09). Love this place and the chocolates.

His Almond Hot Chocolate's Drink

The Classic Hot Chocolate drink (a must try) which fashionably yours had

He was telling me this is so cute and he also likes to drnk this
Chocolate & Strawberry ice cream (Yummy)

Both of us were so full, so we strolled around Clarke Quay and dropped by the AQUA party. Wanted to say Hi to our friend Alex, but he was not in at that point of time when we were there. So we continued strolling.

We were yearning for a glass of red wine so we dropped by The Wine Connection at 11 Unity Street#01-06 Robertson Walk Singapore 237995.

Our Petit Noir Wine

I like the wine at The Wine Connection. Petit Noir is light and I enjoyed it. So we just sipped our wine, chatted and laughed a lot till the wee hours.

We also chatted alot of things and we had very good discussion with each other which is good, so that we can understand each other. In other words we communicate alot.

All in all we enjoyed each other company with nice food - Japanese food, Chocolate drinks and end our night with wine....We both love to drink wine.

My weekend

Last Friday had lunch together with two hunks - Jon and Edwin at Cineleisure. We had Korean food at a Korean cafe. Sorry cannot remember the cafe name.

Jon's Kimchi setMy Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup Set
Edwin's beef set

I tasted some of Jon's kimichi set and find it nice and delicious, which I would like to eat should I visit the cafe again. Edwin's beef set is not bad too. I liked my Ginseng Chicken soup too except it is not so concentrated. The chicken served was of huge portion which makes me so full.

After we had our lunch, the guys returned to the office to work. I went to get my coffee fix at the Cova at Paragon. I simply love the coffee from the Cova.

Expresso from the Cova

The stirer is so nice. I had the expresso after my lunch on last Friday. It was heaven. Oh la la.......Met a nice lady at the Cova while we were waiting for our expresso, so we chatted. She visited her hair stylist from Hair Action and told me it has good services. Has anyone been to cut hair or for any hair treatment from Hair Action at the Paragon ? If yes, please leave comments and feedback for me. Thanks. After I bought my expresso, went back to the office to work.

After I knocked off from work last Friday, went to indulge in my favourite activity which is pedicure session. This time I had my toes painted in a shade of bright red from OPI. I love it.

While I was having my pedicure session, I had another round of coffee fix - Ice Latte from StarbucksI think I have overdose of caffeine last Friday. I am actually more of a tea person but at times I crave for coffee fix too......

After I am done with my pedicure session, it was time for my grocery shoppings at the Market Place at the Paragon. While I was at the Paragon last Friday evening, they have some Omega Private Event at the atrium. Saw lots of celebrities, such as Kym Ng, Elvin Ng and Dr Georgia Lee at the event. Most of the guests are dressed to the nines at the event.

OMG ! I miss attending these private events......recently my social front has been so quiet compared to a few months ago whereby I have so many private events to attend. I think I will wear my new Vera Wang dress to the next Private Event with either my Segio Rossi or Ferragamo shoes......I still have another new sexy long dress which I think I can wear to some smart casual events....

Well, my Saturday and Sunday was wonderful too. I ate lots of my favourite foodie which I love....

Bought a jar of No.1 Danish Jam which is prepared without boiling to preserve freshness, consistency and natural fruit taste. It has lower sugar content and less gelatine than traditional spreads. It also contains large content of whole first class berries and fruit pieces. Highly recommended to my weblogders to try it out. It tasted so fine when spread it on bread. There are fresh fruits in the jam too....yummy.

Of course not forgetting to eat my favourite Hershey cookies 'n' chocolate bar. Yum yum yum yummy so yummy.......

Ate grapes Below are pictures of what I indulged on a hot sunny Saturday afternoon tea

On Sunday afternoon tea I had the followings :

Chicken soup for the soul

With some black peppercorns

with my favourite Lipton White Tea

and munching my favourite sours unbearables gummy

It is nice to end the weekend with wine and strawberries. Cheers :)

Have a nice week ahead, everyone.
