Maggie Moo's ice cream

Yesterday fashionably yours and bff ate Maggie Moo's ice cream at 313 Somerset.   We had the waffle ice cream - mint and better batter cake carnival with maple syrup.  The waffle is hot and nice but the ice cream is too sweet for my liking.

Red bean potong ice cream

Fashionably yours don't need to eat expensive food to be happy. A simple red bean potong ice cream can make me a happy girl.  As long as the food are cheap, tasty, hygenic and healthy is good enough for me. Some hotels and restaurants are charging exorbitant prices yet their food taste horrible and bad customer services.

Breezy midweek updates

It is midweek today and is fashionably yours off day. I have been relaxing today on this breezy midweek.  Can sleep anytime I like and wake up anytime I like.  Bliss.  Watched a cartoon on Okto just now.  Love this cartoon call Postman Pat.  Nice cartoon.  In fact, I love watching cartoons.  Still such a kid-at-heart (*blushing*)  Postman Pat, guess what is in his bag ?  It is ok to be happy...OMG ! I am singing Postman Pat verses.  Read here for information on Postman Pat

Postman Pat

Fashionably yours put on a facial mask, had some strawberries and sipping my hot cup of Lipton's forest fruit tea while blogging now amidst my lush greenery surroundings.  So much for a multi-tasker.  I can multi-task well but I don't like to do things in haste.  Always do things in smart way and strategically.  The theory of strategic planning. OMG ! occupation hazard again...yes I have a lot of plannings to do at work and is part of my job.

Some updates on my happenings.  Yesterday went to Ben and Jerry's Free Cone day event at Orchard Central.  There were long quenes but it was fast moving.  I get to taste my Ben and Jerry's chocolate macademia ice cream  in about 15 minutes from the time I quened up.  Thanks Ben and Jerry's for the free ice cream.  Yummy.

I didn't know there is a free notebook until I reached home. No wonder it is so heavy when I was carrying the magazine.  Now I can scribble in my this free cutie notebook.  Winnie the Pooh is another of my favourite cartoon.  Honey bunny winnie, loving your honey.

Time for fashionably yours news feeding and fashion feeding on the latest fashion and beauty.

Ippudo Ramen Restaurant - Mandarin Gallery

Today went to eat Ippudo Ramen at Mandarin Gallery with L-san.  When we reached there, it was not that long quene, so we only quened up for about 20minutes before we were shown to our table.  I like my Shiromaru ramen.  Love the soup base, simple and not that over the top.  L-san had the akamaru ramen which he find abit oily but delicious.  Oishii deshita. I am a happy girl now.  Ippudo Ramen restaurant does not take reservations, so it is a first-come-first-serve basis.

Yuzu Sherbert

The Yuzu Sherbert is on the house because fashionably yours paid using OCBC credit card. The Yuzu Sherbert is very delicious though tasted sour, but I like it.  Had an enjoyable lunch today.  Thereafter we shopped around Mandarin Gallery before we returned back to the office.  I would say we will go back again to eat the ramen provided the quene is not too long.

Fashionably yours is looking forward to part 2 tonight dinner wtih my bestie and our close guy friend.  OMG ! it is so fun fun fun today...TGIF.

Have a nice weekend everyone

Lovely night out on town

TGIF.....The festive seasons is here....party mood and holi holday....It is holi holidaze for fashionably yours. The weather is cooling today. Actually supposed to be out and about in town today but due to fashionably yours have been sleeping so much of my time, that alot of things are piling up, so have to stay at home to get things going. Had a wonderful time yesterday with a wonderful man. He is so sweet to me and is spoiling me.

We first met on this Alkaff bridge at Robertson Quay. This is such a beautiful and colourful bridge.

The Alkaff Bridge (Art Bridge)

We had dinner at the Zen Japanese Restaurant. We love to eat Japanese food especially the fresh sashimi. Z’en Japanese Cuisine (205 River Valley Road #01-75 UE Square),
The Z'en Japanese Cuisine
The salad

The very fresh sashimi, our green tea and sake Tempura

It has nice atmoshpere and lots of Japanese were dining there. After we are done with our Japanese food, we went for our drinks and desserts at Le Amis’s Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolatier (11 Unity Street, Robertson Walk #01-09). Love this place and the chocolates.

His Almond Hot Chocolate's Drink

The Classic Hot Chocolate drink (a must try) which fashionably yours had

He was telling me this is so cute and he also likes to drnk this
Chocolate & Strawberry ice cream (Yummy)

Both of us were so full, so we strolled around Clarke Quay and dropped by the AQUA party. Wanted to say Hi to our friend Alex, but he was not in at that point of time when we were there. So we continued strolling.

We were yearning for a glass of red wine so we dropped by The Wine Connection at 11 Unity Street#01-06 Robertson Walk Singapore 237995.

Our Petit Noir Wine

I like the wine at The Wine Connection. Petit Noir is light and I enjoyed it. So we just sipped our wine, chatted and laughed a lot till the wee hours.

We also chatted alot of things and we had very good discussion with each other which is good, so that we can understand each other. In other words we communicate alot.

All in all we enjoyed each other company with nice food - Japanese food, Chocolate drinks and end our night with wine....We both love to drink wine.

Magazine and Food

Yesterday Fashionably yours bought Her World magazine - Dec 2008 issue using my Kinokuniya cardmember 20% discount. It comes with a Free Clutch. It has five colours namely Red, Black, Green, Orange and Grey. I chose the Red one. I think the Red one is selling fast. Not many left while I was there.

Last night I had a bad headache (as blogged in my last post). It is not panadol that cures me. Guess what, it is a can of Heineken beer that cures my headache. I think I have tension headache due to my stressful work schedule for the past few weeks. Immediately after I drank the can of Heineken beer, it relieves my tension headache. Viola ! my headache is gone and I feel so relaxing and slept very well. However, I still prefer to drink Carlsberg and Hoegarden beer.
I just had some munching of tidbits this afternoon, but it is the healthy tidbits, while watching ugly betty.
The bottle of salsa sauce which I bought from Cold Storage
My packet of Yogurt & Green Onion Chips from Kettle brand
This brand is my favourite as it does not contain trans fat,
a healthy choice, though abit expensive
Yummy

Followed by drinking
my favourite Darjeeling tea

Last evening, fashionably yours dropped by Cold Storage at Holland Village to shop for my grocery shoppings. Bought the Kettle brand chips, Salsa sauce, some chocolates, honey bake ham, a can of Heineken beer and a packet of cream of chicken soup. I enjoyed shoppings and chilling out at Holland Village. Saw three suave and good looking English men at Cold Storage. They are so cute, standing at the fridge choosing Magnum ice cream. At the cashier, another Englishman stirkes up a conversation with me, while I was in the quene. He is a friendly chap. Anyway I am always in contact with Englishman, or rather these friendly Englishman Caucasians expatriates like to be friend with me wherever I go. There are lots of expatriates at Holland Village, the place where I am putting up currently. Sometimes I feel like I am in Europe when I was hanging out there with the expatriates. Love the place and most of the shop owners know me since I am a regular there.
On a side note, Lemon-san commented that fashionably yours is speaking the American accent and slang, which he has difficulties understanding. My big's American accent is stronger than me, you bet. Lemon-san will have a hard time communicating with my big. Actually I am just speaking the proper English, I don't think it is my American accent.

Monday blues set in today.

Went for ice cream with Jon-san, Lemon-san and Rex-san after we had our lunch at McCafe.

Guess what ! Retail therapy after ice cream time. Three men and a lady went shopping. Feel wonderful that I have three escorts accompanied me shoppings.

Bought a pair of gold colour shoe and that makes me a happy girl.
