Dinner at Ichiban Boshi

Last two Friday ago, met up with bestie and K-san for dinner at Ichiban Boshi at Centrepoint.  It was nice meeting K-san after so long, about one year ago since we last saw him.  There was no quene formed at the restaurant when we reached there.  We were quickly shown to our table immediately.  The restaurant was not so packed when we reached there but slowly the crowds built up.  Services were abit slow and seem like they were under staff because they took some time to refill our drinks and we need to request for drinks refill instead of them checking our glasses regularly to refill the drinks.  The food was yummy. Bestie feedback that she finds the food served in town  is more delicious compared to the food served in their heartland outlets.

My favourite salmon sashimi
My bento set - miso soup, chawan mushi, rice and oranges
My tamago sushi
Bestie's soup

K-san's ebi sushi
Bestie's chocolate ice cream
K-san's rikyu icr cream

Actually K-san had chasoba (green tea noodles) and some sushi but he ate them too fast before I could take a snapshot of his food.  Fashionably yours skipped the dessert since I find it fattening.  I am very health conscious of what I eat.  The food cannot be too oily and I don't eat fried food much.  My slim figure is all thanks to my diet :))   After we are done with our dinner, bestie and I went shoppings while K-san went home sweet home.

We shopped at Uniqlo at 313 Somerset.  Both of us both a +J jackets.  Love the jackets very much.  Thereafter is home sweet home for us since it was late and most of the shops are closing.  In fact, that day was really a Japanese day for me because I had Japanese cuisine for lunch and dinner.  Feel so Japanese :)

Fashionably yours is feeling so sleepy now and I wanna go to bed.  Good night everyone and sweet dreams.

Enjoying life

It is the weekend....Hurray....well well well, fashionably yours have been so busy during the weekdays and cannot find the time to blog. Just realized I can only update my blog during the weekend. Am I becoming the weekend blogger ? I hope not. I want to constantly update my blog for my dear weblogders.

The week is kind of happening. Took afternoon leave last Thursday to visit my hairstylist for a new look, together with bestie. I had a hair cut, colour, highlight and treatment. It was very relaxing with the hair massage. Spent about 3 hours at the salon together with bestie, but kind of fun because we chat and laughed alot, though we felt kind of sleepy in between. Luckily we have each other to laugh and talk to, otherwise really can fall asleep during the hair session. I like my new hair style. After we were done with our hair session, we proceed to redeem some vouchers at the customer service counter since we spent a certain amount and entitled us to play spin the wheel game.

We had lots of fun spinning the wheels....spin and spin and spin....Then in total we have 28 tokens. I exchanged 13 tokens for a cute little yellow bear. While bestie exchanged the balance of the tokens for a rubic cube and a note pad.

My cutie little yellow bear which I
exchanged for 13 tokens
to bring him home
What shall I name him ?
Little cutie bear saying Hi to everyone
Please suggests some name for me. Thanks.

We were so hungry after spinning the wheel, so we went to Ichiban Boshi at Suntec for Japanese dinner. Yes we love Japanese food. It was not crowded and no quene, so we were showed to our table once we reached the restaurant.

Healthy bento set
I love the fresh salmon sashimi and chawan mushi

Both of us ate till very full. We asked the waitress will the fruits be watermelon as shown on the menu. She told us only oranges will be served instead of watermelon. I told bestie that they served us oranges instead of watermelons the last time when we dined there. I think they are cutting cost on the fruits because oranges are cheaper compared to watermelons. We would prefer to eat watermelons.
Two of us really enjoying life on a Thursday afternoon while our colleagues were working hard in the office. Our weekend starts on Thursday, to the salon to do our hair, then to our yummy Japanese dinner. It is good to go to the mall during weekdays because less crowded and get better service as compared to the weekends. We don't like the weekend crowds at the malls.
Fashionably yours have a very bad case of throat infections and sore throat. Seen the company doctor and was prescribed anti-biotics on Friday. However still not fully recovered yet. Think I talked to much in the office and worsen my throat conditions. My voice changed too. I want my original voice to be back and the pain pain go away asap. Have been drinking lots of h20.
My anti-biotics

Actually Fashionably yours is supposed to be at the hottest party in town dancing now and not blogging here. I have complimentary VIP tickets to the hottest party in town. However due to my sore throat, I decided to stay home to rest and here I am updating my blog. I miss the party this time but never mind, I must recover asap so that I can go to the next party and dancing the night away.
Now here are some udpates on shoppings in town :

Good food, good company and good stuffy

Last Monday met up with Bestie for downtown shoppings. It was so crowded though it was a Monday afternoon. Seems like a Friday than a Monday. Anyway we fought with the crowds who were doing their last minute shoppings. Fashionably yours bought my Magazines and it was long lines at Bookstore Kinokuniya since they are having their 20% discount storewide.

In the evening, had sumptuous dinner with bestie at Sun at CHIJMES. They have the 50% off all Sashimi at CHIJMES promotion. We love their Otoro and Sashimi. Yummy. The promotions ended on 22nd December 2008 which was last Monday. Fortunately we make it in time for the promotions. Good services and nice ambience. We will go back to dine again. Highly recommend to friends to dine there for their fresh Sashimi. I love to eat fresh Sashimi.

Fashionably yours is happy with her shopping feeds at Hermes last Monday. I came out from the boutique with an orange bag in my hand. Will be back to shop at Hermes. I love Hermes.

Presenting my Hermes twilly

While fashionably yours was trying out the twilly at the boutique, there was this gentleman who was eyeing my this piece of nice twilly. I think he wants to buy a twilly for his love ones. Too bad this is the only piece left at the boutique. It is sold to me.

I am a happy girl with my Hermes twilly.....Yippee !

Well, what can I asked for.....Good food, good company and good quality stuff on hand. Life is beautiful......counting my blessings. Thank God for everything and praise the Lord. Amen.

P.S. Note to myself, must buy pressie for my big.....because we promise each other before he left for the big apple.

Lovely night out on town

TGIF.....The festive seasons is here....party mood and holi holday....It is holi holidaze for fashionably yours. The weather is cooling today. Actually supposed to be out and about in town today but due to fashionably yours have been sleeping so much of my time, that alot of things are piling up, so have to stay at home to get things going. Had a wonderful time yesterday with a wonderful man. He is so sweet to me and is spoiling me.

We first met on this Alkaff bridge at Robertson Quay. This is such a beautiful and colourful bridge.

The Alkaff Bridge (Art Bridge)

We had dinner at the Zen Japanese Restaurant. We love to eat Japanese food especially the fresh sashimi. Z’en Japanese Cuisine (205 River Valley Road #01-75 UE Square),
The Z'en Japanese Cuisine
The salad

The very fresh sashimi, our green tea and sake Tempura

It has nice atmoshpere and lots of Japanese were dining there. After we are done with our Japanese food, we went for our drinks and desserts at Le Amis’s Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolatier (11 Unity Street, Robertson Walk #01-09). Love this place and the chocolates.

His Almond Hot Chocolate's Drink

The Classic Hot Chocolate drink (a must try) which fashionably yours had

He was telling me this is so cute and he also likes to drnk this
Chocolate & Strawberry ice cream (Yummy)

Both of us were so full, so we strolled around Clarke Quay and dropped by the AQUA party. Wanted to say Hi to our friend Alex, but he was not in at that point of time when we were there. So we continued strolling.

We were yearning for a glass of red wine so we dropped by The Wine Connection at 11 Unity Street#01-06 Robertson Walk Singapore 237995.

Our Petit Noir Wine

I like the wine at The Wine Connection. Petit Noir is light and I enjoyed it. So we just sipped our wine, chatted and laughed a lot till the wee hours.

We also chatted alot of things and we had very good discussion with each other which is good, so that we can understand each other. In other words we communicate alot.

All in all we enjoyed each other company with nice food - Japanese food, Chocolate drinks and end our night with wine....We both love to drink wine.

My Lovely Sunday

My Sunday was kinda of suck initially because fashionably yours lappy was down. Fashionably yours was so moody. It was due to the vista unstability and it gave me the error message Interactive logon failed. Please check with event log, or something like that. I seek help of course with friends. Thanks to bestie and Billy for their help, that my lappy was up around 12 noon on Sunday. Then I was a happy girl blogging away and surfing the net using my lappy. Think it is a common problem with the vista operating system. Thanks bestie and Billy. Greatly appreciated.

On Sunday afternoon, went for retail therapy with bestie at Isetan Scotts. We bought lots of lingerie and I love my new sexy bra from Triumph. I bought so many Triumph products but they never offered me membership till yesterday that I finally become a Triumph member. It was worth the buy because Isetan Scotts have this promotion whereby for every SGD50 nett, customers are entitled to redeem a SGD5 Isetan voucher. So I redeemed SGD10 Isetan voucher yesterday. In fact, I have lots of Isetan vouchers so I paid using my Isetan vouchers and decided to use the balance amount in my receipt to redeem the new Isetan vouchers. I also earned triumph points since I am now a Triumph member. In fact, I had wanted to buy lingerie a few weeks back but due to my very very busy schedule, it was on hold till yesterday when bestie told me about the promotions, so we headed out for our lingerie retail therapy in the afternoon. Both of us are very happy with our lingerie purchases. Besides fashionably yours also bought 2 pens, a pink and black brown colour pen but I think I don't really like the pink colour because it was quite light. I want to buy another two pens tomorrow, maybe the maroon and purple one.

After we were done with our shoppings, our stomach were calling so we took the train to Clarke Quay for our dinner. Actually bestie wants to buy a Japanese Travel magazine but it was out of stock at Kinokuniya bookstore at Ngee Ann City, so we have to travel to Liang Court for the magazine since only Liang Court branch has the last copy. At the same time, can enjoy my card member 20% discount for the card member promotion for 3 days only from 24 Oct to 26 Oct 2008. We met bestie's two colleagues (Parrot man and Melissa) who are a couple at the station and they are also heading to the same place as us, so we chatted and ride on the train together.

When we reached Clarke Quay station, my Mr Big messaged me that he has just finished his training session and is going for dinner with his training friend. We almost wanted to meet up for dinner last night. Then my Mr Big said they are in shorts and flip flops so not coming to Clarke Quay for dinner, which is upscale according to my Mr Big. They wanted to eat at Bugis. We almost wanted to join them but eventually bestie and I decided to dine at Liang Court. Luckily we didn't join them at Bugis, otherwise we will miss the good food at Nirai kanai Okinawan Restaurant at Liang Court.

On a side note, Mr Big and his friend ate Thai food at Thai Place at Bugis while Bestie and I had Japanese food at Liang Court.

Click
here for our delicious and yummilicious foodie. Both of us really like the food at Nirai Kanai Okinawan Restaurant.......rate it 5 stars....full marks.....yummy ! We are smiling all the way home.

Fashionably Yours at the Nirai Kanai Okinawan Restaurant
I really like this sexy dress

All in all, a very lovely Sunday for fashionably yours. Good food, good company and good retail therapy. We always have lots of fun and laughters when bestie and I went out. Yesterday was our Girls day and night out while my Mr Big had his boys day and night out. One thing for sure is I do miss my Mr Big though.....naughty boy !
