Happy Thanksgiving

Had our early Thanksgiving meal a few weeks ago with my buddies (Seng-san, Yuan-san, Lemon-san and G-san ) at Botak Jones. It was yummy....shall let the pictures do the talking.

We finished all the food.  Hurray.

I was amazed that I could eat despite was suffering from gum infections at that time.  I was recovering so I ate all the soft meat and bite very very slowly.  They are so nice that they ordered those food that I can eat in my condition.  The roasted pork is really a thumbs up.  I ate some of the softer ones which G-san so kindly picked out for me.  The roasted chicken is yummy too which also G-san picked out for me those soft ones which I can eat.  I ate lots of the fish and salad.  All of us ate till very full.  Nice company and delicious food.  Love it.  Life is great.

Drinks

On Monday evening, fashionably yours chillax at Starbucks Paragon after knocking off from work.  It was not crowded and plentiful of seats. Yesterday was feeling like something was missing in my life.  Oh well, fashionably yours realized have not been drinking tea since Monday.  So happy to drink my hot cup of Passion fruit tea from Dome in the afternoon at work.

Rain

It has been pouring heavy rain lately. The weather is so cooling and feels so nice.  Don't even need to turn on the air con or fan.  Was watching the heavy rain pouring the other day.  I love to watch the rain drops falling.

Updates for week 3 of November 2009

The weekends come and goes so fast. It is Monday again and also the last week of November 2009.  Soon it will be Christmas Day in about 4 weeks time.  Have been a busy week for fashionably yours last week and going to be a stressful and tiring one for the next few weeks.  This is because year end needs to do lots of budgeting at work and lots of huge numbers to analyse.  It is good to get busy but not too stressful.  Lots of blogs updates.  Here goes.....

Sweet Potatoes

Bought these Gorojima Kintoki Potato from Isetan Supermarket last week.

 Cook it just now and had these authentic Japanese Sweet Potatoes. Yummy :)

It is my favourite and it nourishes my soul.

My toothpaste

Fashionably yours bought this Sensodyne toothpaste from Watson yesterday.

Cost SGD8.80 and is buy one get one free.

Hope it will help to speed up my recovery from gums infections and relieve my sensitive teeth.

What's on our lunch table today ?

Today we had potato salad for lunch.  Actually is part of our lunch as a side dish.

Methods to make this potato salad

1. Boil the potatoes

2. Peel it and cut into small cubes

3. Mix it with Mayonnaise, pickles and bacon bits

4. Put it into the fridge to chill it for at least one hour before consuming it. 

5. Nom...nom....nom....Yummy.

RELAXING Monday

A rainy Monday evening and so cooling weather now.  I love the rain.

Fashionably yours is enjoying my day off today. Had lunch with my wonderful buddies, been to the supermarket to run some errands and bookstore to pick up a fashion magazine.  Most of my friends are working on a MONDAY and here I am rest and RELAX. YIPPEE. 

Had a short nap in this nice and cooling weather just now too.  Feel so nice to snuggle under the duvet while my friends are working hard in the office. 

OK now off to take my yummy dinner of fish soup.  Drinking something soupy in this rainy weather is comfort food.

Strawberries Sunday

Fashionably yours shopped happily at Holland Village Cold Storage on a lazy Sunday afternoon.  It was not so crowded and a breeze to make payments at the cashier.  Bought strawberries at SGD1.50 per punnet and each customer can only purchase up to 2 punnets per transactions.  Not many were left on the shelf while I was there.  Luckily I saw it and bought it.  Strawberry is my favourite fruit.  What is your favourite fruit ?

Suddenly I just realized I have been sucking lollipops that have expired 2 months ago. No wonder I have upset stomach last few weeks. Why am I always eating expired products ?

 I must be more careful from now onwards. I am such a muddle head !!!!!

Shoppings

Did my grocery shoppings at Isetan Supermarket last week.  Bought Vermont apple vinegar, some Japanese  instant noodles and some cans of Japanese tuna flakes for my sandwiches.  The instant noodles tasted very yummy especially the soup base. It is different from our normal instant noodles.

Also bought a tea set of Organic Green Tea with citras and pomengranate and

MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge 2009 - Day 4

Was at the MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge 2009 on day 4, which was on Tuesday to cheer and support the contestants.  While we were there, the contestants were taking their precious 5 mins break.  It was amazing  they can do so many things within the 5 minutes break - go toilet, eating, massaging, drinking and wash their face.  Kudos to the contestants for braving the sun and rain.

Congrats to the winner - Mohd Anuar, winner of MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge 2009 who competing for 77 hours and 43 minutes.  I am happy for him.  Read here for more reports.

MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge 2009

Just back from cheering the contestants at  MediaCorp Subaru Impreza WRX Challenge 2009 at Ngee Ann City.

While we were there, 3 contestants dropped out.  The rest are still keep going.  It is raining now in Orchard.  Those contestants have to brave the rain and sunshine...go down to support  them if you are in the vicinity.
