I find the texture is very light even if you applied a few times on your lips.  My colleague told me this lip balm is worth SGD18.  It is a GWP from the magazine which we bought from books Kinokuniya (refer to my earlier post on the magazine).

My Retail Therapy and loving my birkenstocks

The horrible weather is so hot and humid of late.  Finally it is raining now but seems too late for fashionably yours to take a short nap because is evening now.  Updating some of my last week retail therapy.  Actually just bought what I need to use.  The Body Shop has a 30% discounts for their Star Loyalty Customers so I went to stock up my stuff.  I always wait till their 30% discounts promotions, then I shop there unless I need the items urgently.

Easter Long Weekends

This is the long weekend in view of Good Friday, a Public Holiday.  Hope everyone is enjoying this long weekend.  The next Public Holiday will be one month later which is 1st May - Labour Day.  I read from the news that Universal Studio Singapore is full house because many people throng to Sentosa this long weekend.  I would not visit USS on weekend because so crowded and will be super long Q for the rides.  I don't like to squeeze with crowds so would choose to visit USS again on a weekday.  I really enjoyed myself at USS and so fairy tale at the castle.  Guess I am just so princessie (*blushing*). 

I don't understand why so many people like to go to Orchard during weekends.  Seems like they don't have other places to go.  As far as I am concern, I will avoid Orchad Road on weekends if I can avoid it, do not want to squeeze with the crowds, both human and traffic jam.  Afterall I am always in Orchard Road during weekdays.  It is my 2nd home :)

Breezy midweek updates

It is midweek today and is fashionably yours off day. I have been relaxing today on this breezy midweek.  Can sleep anytime I like and wake up anytime I like.  Bliss.  Watched a cartoon on Okto just now.  Love this cartoon call Postman Pat.  Nice cartoon.  In fact, I love watching cartoons.  Still such a kid-at-heart (*blushing*)  Postman Pat, guess what is in his bag ?  It is ok to be happy...OMG ! Fashionably yours put on a facial mask, had some strawberries and sipping my hot cup of Lipton's forest fruit tea while blogging now amidst my lush greenery surroundings.  So much for a multi-tasker.  I can multi-task well but I don't like to do things in haste.  Always do things in smart way and strategically.  The theory of strategic planning. OMG ! occupation hazard again...yes I have a lot of plannings to do at work and is part of my job. 

Some updates on my happenings.  Yesterday went to Ben and Jerry's Free Cone day event at Orchard Central.  There were long quenes but it was fast moving.  I get to taste my Ben and Jerry's chocolate macademia ice cream  in about 15 minutes from the time I quened up.  Thanks Ben and Jerry's for the free ice cream.  Yummy.

Fashionably yours bought L'officiel magazine March 2010 issue last week.  It comes with a free Ed Pinaud Quad eye shadow worth SGD59.  It has six colours so it depends on your luck as the colours are not indicated on the box.  The eye shadow are of good quality as currently I am using the silver colour which came free with last year issue that I bought.

Last Friday MAC launched their Viva Glam lipstick for HIV causes.  They have the Lady Gaga Viva Glam and Cyndi Lauper Glam.  I tried both and bought Cyndi Lauper Glam as the colour suits my skin tone better.  Every cent of the selling price of VIVA GLAM Lipstick is donated to the M·A·C AIDS Fund to support men, women, and children living with HIV and AIDS. Therefore it is spending for a good cause.

The weather is so hot lately.  I am sweating all the time and my body feel so warm as if my body is on fire.  How do your cope with this warm, humid and super hot weather ?  My two lovers are the fan and aircon.  I wish it will rain heavily.  I feel so dehydrated and so thirsty now, so excuse me, I need to drink some water now.

RELAXING Monday

A rainy Monday evening and so cooling weather now.  I love the rain.

Fashionably yours is enjoying my day off today. Had lunch with my wonderful buddies, been to the supermarket to run some errands and bookstore to pick up a fashion magazine.  Most of my friends are working on a MONDAY and here I am rest and RELAX. YIPPEE. 

Had a short nap in this nice and cooling weather just now too.  Feel so nice to snuggle under the duvet while my friends are working hard in the office. 

OK now off to take my yummy dinner of fish soup.  Drinking something soupy in this rainy weather is comfort food.

Fashionably yours was at Kinokuniya Bookstore last week.  Bought L'OFFICIEL magazine at SGD5.90 before cardmembers 10% discount.  The free gift is ED PINAUD Eye shaow worth SGD75, imported from Paris.  They have 5 trendy colours.  I bought white frosted and emerald green.  In other words, I bought 2 magazines.  It is still worth it.  You do the maths :)  I have used the white frosted eye shadow as a base.  It can also be used as a highlighter. Smooth and lasting eyeshadow.
