There was this 10% discount promotion so I bought it to try. I like to do facial mask.

It helps to refine and restore your complexion to smooth, moisturized suppleness in just 3 minutes.

I only used once and quite like it. 

 Bought this KATE waterproof liquid eyeliner

I am currently using L'oreal gel liner which is smudgeproof. Found it not as lasting as liquid eyeliner. However, liquid eyeliner gotta wait for it to dry whereas gel liner dried immediately. I might try out KATE gel liner if there is discounts during our Great Singapore Sales (GSS)

Etude house gave me a free moisture-ful facial mask.  Used it last Thurday and find it not bad.  The lipgloss cost SGD16.90 minus my SGD10 wisma voucher and gave me a facial mask costing SGD2.50.  A good deal, you do the maths. 

There are many sales around town lately.  There are the Isetan Private Sales, OG sales and The Body Shop warehouse sales.  However, I did not go to any of these sales because I only buy what I need not what I want now.  Fashionably yours can resist sales.  I did some shoppings at Watsons but mainly to buy my daily toiletries necessities.  It is wiser to save money for a rainy day.  Spend wisely.  Oh yes online shoppings is cheaper too.  Do share with me if you have any good online shopping sites.  Thanks.

Kingo kingo cleanser

On Monday, fashionably yours was at Isetan Scotts during my lunch hour.  They are having this Kingo Kingo promotions at Basement 1 till 6 May 2010.  This is a white volcanic ash cleanser for all skin type.  Bestie told me she finds it very clean after using it.  Thus I decided to try it out for myself.  Retailing at SGD28.

I tried it out and find that it is very dry and harsh for my skin.  Thus not recommendable for everyday usage but don't mind to use it once a week for deep cleansing.  Followed by lots of moisturisers.  I still prefer my Fancl washing powder, which is mild, refreshing and moisturising.

Easter Long Weekends

This is the long weekend in view of Good Friday, a Public Holiday.  Hope everyone is enjoying this long weekend.  The next Public Holiday will be one month later which is 1st May - Labour Day.  I read from the news that Universal Studio Singapore is full house because many people throng to Sentosa this long weekend.  I would not visit USS on weekend because so crowded and will be super long Q for the rides.  I don't like to squeeze with crowds so would choose to visit USS again on a weekday.  I really enjoyed myself at USS and so fairy tale at the castle.  Guess I am just so princessie (*blushing*). 

I don't understand why so many people like to go to Orchard during weekends.  Seems like they don't have other places to go.  As far as I am concern, I will avoid Orchad Road on weekends if I can avoid it, do not want to squeeze with the crowds, both human and traffic jam.  Afterall I am always in Orchard Road during weekdays.  It is my 2nd home :)

Shoppings

On Tuesday, went to Isetan to buy my Ettusais night time defense powder.  I didn't know I have run out of my face powder till when I want to use it.  That shows how busy I am with my life that I didn't know I have run out of face powder at the eleventh hour.  One good thing is I am working in Orchard, so is just a hop away to get my face powder during my lunch hour.

Today fashionably yours went to The Body Shop Warehouse Sales at Suntec City. It was not so crowded when I reached there at about 3pm, so I shopped happily.  It took me about 30 minutes to get what I need.  Such a breeze.   The sales is till this Sunday. 

OMG ! Suntec City is so crowded because so many people went to the IT show.  It was only a Thursday afternoon and the IT Show is already so pack, cannot imagine the crowds over the weekend at the IT Show.  These few days better avoid going Suntec. Can't stand the crowds.  I saw a lot of people purchased printers and LCD Screen at the IT show.  

After my shoppings are done, proceed to Starbucks to enjoy my favourite drink - Raspberry Blackcurrant.

Fashionably yours bought one tub of Spa Wisdom, 3 tubs of Honey and Oak Mask, 2 eyeliner, a blusher brush and half a dozen of tea tree oil.  These are what I need. Once I grabbed what I need, I proceed to cashier to make payment and get out of the sales.  I paid about SGD168 in total at the sales.  I am applying the Honey and Oak Mask now while blogging. I really like the emerald shade of eye liner which I just used it this afternoon. 

Actually there are some other items that I want to buy but they are not on sales, so I will buy it at the store.  Besides I still have rebates to use before they expired by end of this month. 

These few days I can smell the burning smell in the air.  Seems like the PSI readings is about 53.  The air is bad and the haze is back.  I am having watery eyes today and just sneezed. I hate the haze and air pollution.  Such a hazard to my eyes and nose.

My long weekends starts today till next Monday.  Yes we are all clearing leave as complying to our company policy to clear all our last year annual leave by end of March which is the close of our financial year.  Thus everybody is busy clearing work and clearing leave now in our office.

Pedicure, Hair Salon, Lunch, Shoppings and very leisure week

Gonna take things slow today.  It is a very hot Thirstday afternoon so fashionably yours rest and relax to chill out amidst my lush greenery surroundings. Feeling the caressing of the breeze on my soft and tender skin while I sipped my hot white tea and watching the world goes by.  I can hear the melody of the chirping birds while looking at my neighbour's swimming pool. In fact, I have early weekends this week.  Been enjoying myself since Tuesday.  Off from Tuesday to Thursday.  Here goes the updates while I am eating yogurt, burning my aromatherapy candle and having my favourite Winnie The Pooh bear by my side.  Here goes my happening updates.....

Tuesday afternoon I indulged myself for my luxury pedicure.  Had my sexy toe nails painted in a shade of pinkish red.  Loving it.

It was a very happening Wednesday.  On my way to meet bestie for lunch, fashionably yours fell down because of this man who walked behind me banged into my body at Somerset MRT station.  Both of us were lying on the floor. I couldn't get up for a while, so he helped me to get up. He keep asking me are you ok ? I'm so slim & fragile,so you think I am ok ? My body, right palm are so painful and right arm bleeds abit due to the scratches. I can remember his face, a tall caucasian man. OUCH ! crying.  I am so slim and don't have fats to cushion the fall, so painful. He must be so smitten by me that he didn't watch out where he was walking. This is so drama. I was in shocked.  One moment I was walking and the next moment I was lying on the floor. Some people just stood there and looked at the 2 of us. They thought we were filming. So cartoon.  Luckily I did not broke any bone.  I was so worried last night and began to wonder will I have any internal injury.  Crossing my fingers hoping it is just bruises and nothing serious. My palm was a bit swollen from the fall but now is ok after my bestie gave me 1st aid using ice on it to reduce the swelling. Hoping the aching will go away soon.   I was thinking if I am pregnant and this man banged into me and caused me to fall down, that would be terrible.  Now we have to be careful of the people walking around us, they can bang into us even if we are careful.  After I recovered from the shock, met up with bestie and proceed to lunch at Ichiban boshi.

We requested for a glass of ice for me to relieve my swelling palm from the fall from the staff.  It took them more than ten minutes to serve us a glass of ice.  We enjoyed our lunch though by now we are so sick of eating there  Don't think we will eat there again for quite some time.  Time to eat other food at other restaurants.  We ate and chatted happily.  Interesting and enjoyable.  Afterwhich we took a stroll down to Wisma Atria because I need to redeem some vouchers.  The weather was hot, so we tried to walk under the shade whenever possible.  Actually bestie was supposed to go together with me to the salon to do our hair, but she had another appointment, so she will do her hair next month.  Meanwhile I proceed to the salon to do my hair.  Fashionably yours had a great time at the hair salon yesterday though miss bestie company's at the salon.   Loving my new hairdo, so chic.  Will take picture and post picture soon, so stay tune to my blog.  Cut away all the bad luck (since I fell down).  Now all the good luck come to me. New hairdo for the Lunar New Year. New Year, New Look. All the good luck come to me.  I want to win tomorrow night's SGD10 million TOTO.  Everybody HUAT.

Bascially today I just wanna rest alot since I fell down yesterday.  My auntie and uncles came to my place for CNY visiting too.  Yes we are still celebrating CNY and visitings.  It is like this when we have big families.  Was nice catching up with my uncle and aunties this morning.  Besides, fashionably yours also accomplished many tasks today. 

Last week, I passed by Nature Republic at 313 Somerset and bought some of their products to try out.  After using their toner for a week, I find their toner is not bad.  I still need more time to try out the sun balm though initial usage was so so only.  Anyone out there using Nature Republic products ? Feel free to share your experience and feedback with me.  Thanks.

Happy New Year Eve

It is New Year eve today, the last day of 2009.  Fashionably yours is here blogging to update the happenings before 2010 arrives.  We need to clear all our backlog before the new year arrives.

I enjoyed my festive seasons holiday break and very relaxing.  The last 2 days was Girls Days Out with bestie and very fun.  Lots of retail therapy and food.

The second day of our retail therapy was fruitful because bestie bought her Ferragamo Vera pump. In fact, I think we bought more shoes this time round.  The first day bestie bought 2 pair of shoes at a good discount and I bought my sandal and a pair of black high heels at a good discount.  We are shoes addict.  We wanted to buy clothes but ended up with more shoes purchased.  We love shoes.  Actually I wanted to buy Ferragamo heels but they do not have my size in the colour I like, so I skipped.  Everywhere is having sales now and so crowded at Orchard Road.  Zara sales has just started so still can shop. I haven't been to Zara sales yet but will try to make time for it...think next week most probably.  

On the second day of our retail therapy, fashionably yours bought a nice red dress while bestie bought a nice black blouse.  We had lots of fun and laughters at the fitting room.  One of the lady seek my fashion advise at the fitting room and I happily gave which she appreciated very much. I am glad she trusted me and appreciated my efforts.  It makes my day.  OMG ! I am not only bestie's fashion and stylist consultant, I have new clients now.  I love fashion.

Have been eating lots of salad of late. I love eating salad and so healthy.  I want to be eco friendly and reduce my carbon footprints on earth.  Therefore, please don't consume so much meat, especially beef.  Let's do our part to save the earth.

It is New Year Eve today, the last day of 2009. 10 yrs have zoomed past. I remembered 10yrs ago today was busy with Y2K project, everyone is geared up for the cut-over, camped overnight at office to ensure no errors after the date run from 1999 to 2000 in the computer system. Looking back, what have you done in the past 10 yrs ? Have you grown to be a better person? Reflecting time. Happy New Year Eve everyone.

Wonderful long weekends

Today is Monday but it doesn't feel like a Monday at all because it is a Public Holiday.  Yippee ! no Monday blues but maybe tomorrow will have post long weekends blues *LOL*  Hope everyone had a great long weekends.  Alrighty here we go.....let me update my blog.

Last Thursday was a great day because it was Isetan Private Sales and fashionably yours bought some skin care products.  With my purchases, it entitled me to SGD20 beauty vouchers which I used it to buy some lingeries.  What a steal and a smart shopper too.  I also met up with bestie for a good evening of fun fun fun.  We met at Books Kinokuniya  since bestie was off that day.  She shopped during off peak and browsed books at Books Kinokuniya while waiting for fashionably yours to knock off from work to meet me. 

Finally I make my way down to meet bestie after I finished work.  Had a good deal as I bought this magazine and got two full size packs of twinings tea.  It is a good bargains....just do your maths.

After we are done with the launch event, we proceed to Royal Coppenhagen for our yummy dinner.  Love to dine there because it makes dining such a good and nice experience.  The food never fail us and just love the ambience there.  Luckily that night the place was not full house and love to dine in peace and quietly.  Their services is excellent too.  The waiters refilled my glass of strawberry water promptly.  Drank lots of water that night.  Our dinner for that night as per pictures shown below : -

I really like the cups, plates, spoons, knives, forks and saucers which Royal Coppenhagen Cafe use to serve their food.  It makes dining such a wonderful experience.  Fashionably yours enjoying and appreciating the finer things in life.  Besides the yummy food, the ambience and cutleries used in serving the food is very important to me too.

On Friday, fashionably yours went down to Books Kinokuniya to pick up another magazine which comes with free gift.  Another good bargain.

Think generally my weekends begins on Thursday with so many happenings.  Well it has been a really nice long weekends for me.  Delicious food, nice company and lots of freebies with purchases.  The weather is cooling today after raining.  Loving this nice and cooling weather.  This week is a 4-day work week and very soon the next weekend will be here soon.  This week is also an exciting Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix week.  Lots of F1 related events in town.  It is gonna be madness at work this week....F1, Pit Stop, Race track, etc......
