Wonderful long weekends

Today is Monday but it doesn't feel like a Monday at all because it is a Public Holiday.  Yippee ! no Monday blues but maybe tomorrow will have post long weekends blues *LOL*  Hope everyone had a great long weekends.  Alrighty here we go.....let me update my blog.

Last Thursday was a great day because it was Isetan Private Sales and fashionably yours bought some skin care products.  With my purchases, it entitled me to SGD20 beauty vouchers which I used it to buy some lingeries.  What a steal and a smart shopper too.  I also met up with bestie for a good evening of fun fun fun.  We met at Books Kinokuniya  since bestie was off that day.  She shopped during off peak and browsed books at Books Kinokuniya while waiting for fashionably yours to knock off from work to meet me.

Finally I make my way down to meet bestie after I finished work.  Had a good deal as I bought this magazine and got two full size packs of twinings tea.  It is a good bargains....just do your maths.

Appetite Magazine cost SGD7.20 after my 10% cardmember discount

FREE Twinings Tea cost SGD6.05 per pack times 2 packs
(as per price which I checked at Cold Storage)
I have drank both and tasted nice

Bestie also bought a comic book using my 10% cardmember discount.  Thereafter we attended a launch event.  Had some not-so-nice champagne but some very delicious canapes.

Fashionably yours in the lovely company of 2 very tall and handsome men

After we are done with the launch event, we proceed to Royal Coppenhagen for our yummy dinner.  Love to dine there because it makes dining such a good and nice experience.  The food never fail us and just love the ambience there.  Luckily that night the place was not full house and love to dine in peace and quietly.  Their services is excellent too.  The waiters refilled my glass of strawberry water promptly.  Drank lots of water that night.  Our dinner for that night as per pictures shown below : -

My minestrone soup

My bun which goes so yummy with the butter

My seabass with some vegetables in tomato sauce....so yummy

Dessert of the day
(which I was so full that I had it packed home to eat as supper)

My tea

I really like the cups, plates, spoons, knives, forks and saucers which Royal Coppenhagen Cafe use to serve their food.  It makes dining such a wonderful experience.  Fashionably yours enjoying and appreciating the finer things in life.  Besides the yummy food, the ambience and cutleries used in serving the food is very important to me too.

On Friday, fashionably yours went down to Books Kinokuniya to pick up another magazine which comes with free gift.  Another good bargain.

BAZAAR Magazine

FREE Gift worth SGD32  L'oreal anti-dandraff shampoo
which I have used and find it not bad

Think generally my weekends begins on Thursday with so many happenings.  Well it has been a really nice long weekends for me.  Delicious food, nice company and lots of freebies with purchases.  The weather is cooling today after raining.  Loving this nice and cooling weather.  This week is a 4-day work week and very soon the next weekend will be here soon.  This week is also an exciting Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix week.  Lots of F1 related events in town.  It is gonna be madness at work this week....F1, Pit Stop, Race track, etc......

Have a wonderful week ahead and tune in to the F1 race on TV.  Those who have bought their F1 tickets, have lots of fun at the race.

02022009 = 2nd Feb 2009

The CNY Public Holidays is over oh so fast. The next Public Holiday is gonna only be in April 2009 which is a Good Friday Public Holiday. In other words, there are no Public Holidays in February 2009 and March 2009. Take your own leave to declare self holiday then.

Today is the 2nd day of February 2009 and also the 2nd month of 2009. Phew ! was very busy at work today, running here and there to get things done. Amazingly seems like fashionably yours is jogging in the office in my high heels and pumping up my adrenalin. Never ending tasks which I guess is a good thing, especially now with the bad economy. Thus it is good to be busy at work.

Nevertheless, I still take time to relax over a cup of tea with Lemon-san during lunch time at the Paragon. Nice to hang out with him and chit-chat over a cup of tea. It helps to destress and relax. Saw another lion dance performance at The Paragon. The lion dance performance was for Mondial Jewellery. Enjoy watching the lion dance performance.

I think I am a big fans of Lion Dance Performance. Whenever I saw there is a lion dance performance happening at the malls, surely I must go and take a look.

Alrighty, now time for fashionably yours to rest and relax after a hard day work. Some nice music with a can of beer is good enough for fashionably yours to chill out, with a good book/magazine.

Cheers :))

Chanel, Soup Spoon and Borders - Friday Girls Night out on town

I sat so comfortably on the sofa set of Chanel Boutique on Friday afternoon while waiting for the staff to fix my Chanel handbag chain. My Chanel handbag chain came lose after wear and tear, so I brought it back to the boutique for some services. I start snapping away while waiting for my handbag to be ready.

Chanel apparels and model

The flowers on the coffee table beside the sofa I sat

I watched the fashion show on the big screen while sitting at the sofa

It makes me feel like I am at my own house while I was sitting on the sofa, so comfortable. Besides watching the fashion show on the big screen, saw some ladies looking at handbags at the Chanel boutique. The staff are pretty friendly to me and received VIP treatment. Guess I am their regular and potential customer.

After I am done at the Chanel boutique. I proceed to Nature's Farm to collect my vitamins which the staff had called me on Thursday to inform me that my vitamins has arrived in store. Thererafter I went to Skin Food at Far East Plaza to purchase my skincare products, before I returned to the office. While I was on my way back to my office, this lady who was pushing her baby pram at the Paragon, her baby pram wheel hit my Birkenstock and caused slight damaged at the back. She said sorry to me. I was angry at first but thinking the pram wheel hit my Birkenstock and my feet is not injured, so my Birkenstock protects my feet. I am thankful for that, though sad that my Bkirkenstock is slight damaged at the back. I told Eva about this, she said my Birkenstock slight damaged at the back is not obvious. She didn't even noticed it if I don't tell her about it. The lady was lucky as I was not wearing my Gucci heels on Friday. If she damaged my Gucci heels, I will make her compensate me with a new pair of Gucci heels. There is a Gucci boutique in the Paragon building.

In the evening, went to do some shoppings at the Robinson at Centrepoint with Eva-san. Bought some toiletries and enjoyed the 20% discount for OCBC cardmembers. Thereafter, we ate our dinner at The Soup Spoon at The Paragon, which was very crowded. However, we managed to find seats.

We bought some yakitori from TORI Q to eat Yummy yakitori

Latte at Starbucks
Wanted to eat the cakes from Canele but full house
After we are done with our food and drinks, we strolled to Wheelock Place to shop at the Borders. Along the way to Borders, I almost hold hand with a stranger. Eva and I were laughing and talking and I accidentally brushed against this man near Lucky Plaza and we almost hold hands by a second. He and I looked at each other. He was wearing specs, short hair and average looking. It was so drama mama and we laughed it off and continued our journey to Borders.......It was so crowded at the Borders since it was a Friday night and many people were browsing books and magazines. We met Eva's two interesting friends, Chris and I-something which I cannot remember his name at Borders. They are so interesting, so two ladies and two men chatted happily at the Borders while buying books together. Yes it was our Friday Girls Night out Town plus two interesting men near midnight......so what does two ladies and two men do at midnight.....shall leave it to your imagination..... Below are books which I bought :

Sex and the City, The Movie
