Private Events and Dinner

Last Thursday evening, attended a private event to meet Beverly Feldman, one of my favourite designers.  Had an evening of fun and chatted with her up, close and personal.  Very happy and honoured to meet her indeed.   She autographed my pair of Beverly Feldman high heels and now my heels is worth a few thousand grand.

Last Friday met up with K-san for dinner at Ichiban Tei at Liang Court.  I find the ramen at Ichiban tei is so-so only.  Still prefer the ramen from Ippudo at Mandarin Gallery.

After we had our ramen, fashionably yours had a strawberry yogurt Sherbert from a shop outside Ichiban tei.  Cannot remember the name of the shop though.

We chatted while I ate my strawberry yogurt sherbert.  Then we shopped at Mediya supermarket.  We bought some sushi to bring home to eat.  He bought some tidbits too.  It was nice catching up with him.  We will meet up again for more yummy dinner.

Yesterday passed by the new Gucci flagship store at The Paragon.  Actually was going to The Paragon to chillax during lunch hour with L-san.  In fact, fashionably yours has been inside the store a few weeks ago to browse at some Gucci accessories.

Dinner, Jewel Fest and No need for forever Private Events

Last 2 Friday ago, met up with Bestie in the evening for our yummy dinner at our favourite Royal Copenhengan Cafe and Lounge.  We had our retail therapy done before the dinner. Pictures below show the yummy food we ate :

After we had our dinner, we proceed to attend our first event of the night, which was the Singapore Jewel Fest 2009.  Fashionably yours was invited by the organiser to attend the official opening of the Singapore Jewel Fest.

Bestie and I enjoyed the fashion show, cocktails and canapes at the Jewel Fest. Of course as usual busy clicking away on our digital camera. Met a friend at Jewel Fest too and due to the crowds at the event, fashionaby yours couldn't locate some of my socialite friends who were also there at the event.  Hope to be able to locate my socialite friends at some other events to catch up with them soon.

After the fashion show had ended that night, bestie and fashionably yours had to rush to our next private event which is also happening at the same time and same night.  I was also invited by Hermes to attend the official opening of No need for forever by artist Rei Sato installation arts exhibition.  It was really very  rush rush for two of us.  However we did enjoy the two private events.

In fact, fashionably yours was invited to attend four private events that same night.  However I have to declined the other two private events because it was also taking place at the same time and same night.  If it is back to back, I think I will be able to attend but too bad timing clashed so I can only rush to two private events taking place at the same night and same  time.  Bravo for the two of us rushing from one event to another.  Luckily the venues are just within walking distances and in the same area.  Phew !

The night before these two private events, fashionably yours was also invited to attend the official opening of the Art Festival.  However I had to skip due to work and also to conserve my energy to rush for these two private events which I like very much to attend.  Afterall they are my favourites, bling bling and Hermes.  Seems like I am so popular and on every organisers' guests lists.

Wonderful long weekends

Today is Monday but it doesn't feel like a Monday at all because it is a Public Holiday.  Yippee ! no Monday blues but maybe tomorrow will have post long weekends blues *LOL*  Hope everyone had a great long weekends.  Alrighty here we go.....let me update my blog.

Last Thursday was a great day because it was Isetan Private Sales and fashionably yours bought some skin care products.  With my purchases, it entitled me to SGD20 beauty vouchers which I used it to buy some lingeries.  What a steal and a smart shopper too.  I also met up with bestie for a good evening of fun fun fun.  We met at Books Kinokuniya  since bestie was off that day.  She shopped during off peak and browsed books at Books Kinokuniya while waiting for fashionably yours to knock off from work to meet me. 

Finally I make my way down to meet bestie after I finished work.  Had a good deal as I bought this magazine and got two full size packs of twinings tea.  It is a good bargains....just do your maths.

Bestie also bought a comic book using my 10% cardmember discount.  Thereafter we attended a launch event.  Had some not-so-nice champagne but some very delicious canapes.

After we are done with the launch event, we proceed to Royal Coppenhagen for our yummy dinner.  Love to dine there because it makes dining such a good and nice experience.  The food never fail us and just love the ambience there.  Luckily that night the place was not full house and love to dine in peace and quietly.  Their services is excellent too.  The waiters refilled my glass of strawberry water promptly.  Drank lots of water that night.  Our dinner for that night as per pictures shown below : -

I really like the cups, plates, spoons, knives, forks and saucers which Royal Coppenhagen Cafe use to serve their food.  It makes dining such a wonderful experience.  Fashionably yours enjoying and appreciating the finer things in life.  Besides the yummy food, the ambience and cutleries used in serving the food is very important to me too.

On Friday, fashionably yours went down to Books Kinokuniya to pick up another magazine which comes with free gift.  Another good bargain.

Think generally my weekends begins on Thursday with so many happenings.  Well it has been a really nice long weekends for me.  Delicious food, nice company and lots of freebies with purchases.  The weather is cooling today after raining.  Loving this nice and cooling weather.  This week is a 4-day work week and very soon the next weekend will be here soon.  This week is also an exciting Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix week.  Lots of F1 related events in town.  It is gonna be madness at work this week....F1, Pit Stop, Race track, etc......

Have a wonderful week ahead and tune in to the F1 race on TV.  Those who have bought their F1 tickets, have lots of fun at the race.

The Enchanted Garden

Yesterday went to have lunch at Subway. Had foot long with roast beef, shared it with Lemon-san.

After our lunch, we just chilled out for drinks at The Paragon and browsed CDs at HMV Heeren.

It has been a very busy day for fashionably yours at work...in fact, will be very busy these few weeks at work. Besides will be also very busy on the personal and the social front. It is all about juggling and time management. In short, too many things to do and yet so little time.

Nevertheless, was invited to a private event by Island Shop yesterday. It was for their launch of their Spring/Summer 2009 collection, The Enchanted Garden. Guests were served cocktails and canapes. Guests were given a stalk of rose and door gifts at the event.

Dior Private Event

Was invited to attend the Dior Preview Private Event last evening. It was fun and love the new colours. It was an exclusive private preview of Dior Addict High Colour Collections. Invited guests were served refreshments and canapes, as well as, receive the fantastic door gifts. There was the make-up demonstration by Siti, the make-up artist from Dior at the event. Ladies can learn tricks and tips on the art of make-up. Fashionably yours love the magic of make-up.




Fashionably yours love the Dior Addict High Colour so much that I bought the lipstick. The lipstick colour was chosen by Siti, the make-up artist. She is very nice and give valuable advise and helping me to chooose a nice colour to suit my skin tone, lifestyle and to match my eye shadow colours which fashionably yours wear most of the time.

Opening of Discovery & Journey - 12 Nov 2008 (Wed) - Private Event

Last night met up with Bestie for dinner at The Soup Spoon at The Paragon. It was raining cats and dogs, with very stong wind blowing last night. Fortunately fashionably yours was carrying a huge red umbrella.....free walking advertisement for fashionably yours company. I had the Tokyo Chicken Stew, which I find it very saltish ; ate the Roast beef wasabi sandwich and ice tea. Bestie had the mushroom soup, toufu salad and ice tea. It was nice to drink a bowl of hot delicious soup on a rainy night.....so cosy and feel so warmth. Oh la la....fashionably yours love drinking soup. I think I prefer to drink the mushroom soup, which I find nicer and more tasty than the Tokyo Chicken Stew. I had some helpings of bestie's toufu salad....Yummy !

After we had dinner, we proceed to Liat Towers for the Hermes Private Event. Was honoured to be invited by Hermes to attend the Opening of Discovery & Journey exhibition by artist Flavia Da Rin. When fashionably yours entered the premise, the Sales Associate saw me and greeted me by fashionably yours' first name. Feel great that the Sales Associate remembered fashionably yours name. Guess could be due to fashionably yours is a regular at Hermes and also fashionably yours is invited to most of the private events......well, the place to see and to be seen. Had a good time last night with Bestie at the opening of the Art Exhibition.
