Shiseido Warehouse Sales

Fashionably yours went to Shiseido Warehouse Sales today.  It was not so crowded when I was there.   Bought a crayon lipstick, a limited editon lipstick set and a lipgloss.  Total amount spent is SGD42/-.

CHANEL

Fashionably yours is a Chanel fan. I love Chanel.  Was at the coco shine road show on Tuesday at Takashimayas Shopping Centre.  They launched the new coco shine lipstick.  It is very light and hydrating.

Had a makeover and bought the coco shine lipstick #55 call Romance. It is a shade of pink which brings up my bubbly self.  Had lots of fun that day.

My cle de peau cosmetics

Fashionably yours was at the Shiseido Sales last Thursday.  Happy with my purchases.  I simply love cle de peau cosmetics, especially their lipsticks which is very moisturising and light.  It is retailing at the departmental store at SGD105 per piece.

Itchy, Bitsy Day

Fashionably yours had a very super busy morning.  First thing to see my dentist to fix my teeth.  Luckily somebody cancelled her appointment so they can slot me an appointment for this morning slot. That was what I was told by the clinic staff  when I called up yesteday morning to make an appointment.  Thank God for that and now I am a happy girl.  The dentist did 2 fillings for me and cost me SGD96.30 for about 45 minutes to get it fixed.  He advised me not to bite too hard and must be careful otherwise next time might need to do crowning which would cost me SGD450/-.  I don't know how I ate till I cracked my 2 tooth.  Well for the sake of good food and also on my journey to gain weight, I am a brave girl to visit my dentist to get it fix.  Today is my third visits to the dentist in this year. I have booked my next appointment with my dentist for scaling and polishing to be done in June 2010.  The dentist are always fully booked so advisable to book them in advance.  I think dentists make good money.  I should have studied very hard to become a dentist.  *LOL* bestie commented if I am a dentist, she dared not visit me because I surely don't have enough strength to extract tooth.  hahahaha.....

After I am done with my dentist visit, I went to see my company doctor for my itchy rashes on my leg.  The rashes has been there since Saturday.  Tried normal anti itch cream, but the rashes did not disappear and more and more come out each day.  Finally thrown in the towel and decided to see my company doctor after three days of endurance of the itch.  Look so ugly too...some rahes are big and some are small.  The doctor said it is allergic and sensitive skin. Gave me some anti itch cream, anti histamine and ask me to go home to rest.  Advised me not to eat seafood for the time being until the rashes are gone.  I am already so stressful after visiting my dentist and opened my mouth for about 45minutes for him to do 2 fillings.  Luckily the wait at the GP clinic is fast.  Done in about 20 minutes, so I headed to buy porridge for my lunch and home sweet home to rest.  Still itchy...so itchy bitsy day *LOL*    SCRATCH...........

Though I am at home but I am still clearing my office emails, shooting emails here,there and everywhere, stressing people.  Working from home while resting at the same time. 

Now updating some of my recent happenings.

Finally I applied for my Watsons Card which one can earn points to redeem $$ to offset purchases.  At first I don't want to apply but after I realized that I indeed bought many things from Watsons, so proceed to apply.  It is only SGD5/- for a life time member.

It was raining just now so fashionably yours took a nap.  So blissful.  Now I am drinking my hot cup of white tea while blogging.  I prayed my rashes on my leg will disasppear soon. It is making me so itchy and it looks so ugly.  I hate the rashes. I will not eat seafood till I recovered fully.  Now I need lots of TLC.

Tomorrow is gonna be a stressful day. Lots of work to do in the office.  It is good to be busy at work, it shows you have a job and keep you going. Must think positively (grinning).

Magazines & Freebies, Good cause and hot weather

Fashionably yours bought L'officiel magazine March 2010 issue last week.  It comes with a free Ed Pinaud Quad eye shadow worth SGD59.  It has six colours so it depends on your luck as the colours are not indicated on the box.  The eye shadow are of good quality as currently I am using the silver colour which came free with last year issue that I bought.

Last Friday MAC launched their Viva Glam lipstick for HIV causes.  They have the Lady Gaga Viva Glam and Cyndi Lauper Glam.  I tried both and bought Cyndi Lauper Glam as the colour suits my skin tone better.  Every cent of the selling price of VIVA GLAM Lipstick is donated to the M·A·C AIDS Fund to support men, women, and children living with HIV and AIDS. Therefore it is spending for a good cause.

The weather is so hot lately.  I am sweating all the time and my body feel so warm as if my body is on fire.  How do your cope with this warm, humid and super hot weather ?  My two lovers are the fan and aircon.  I wish it will rain heavily.  I feel so dehydrated and so thirsty now, so excuse me, I need to drink some water now.

Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Therefore a month-long Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign is taking place in October. Activities include the "Wear the Pink Ribbon" and other breast cancer awareness events.   To support the Breast Cancer Foundation, fashionably yours bought Estee Lauder Lip Design Collection set.  Every box purchase, SGD10 will be donated the Breast Cancer Founation.  This is spending for a good cause.  Nice colour and doing for charity.

Dior Private Event

Was invited to attend the Dior Preview Private Event last evening. It was fun and love the new colours. It was an exclusive private preview of Dior Addict High Colour Collections. Invited guests were served refreshments and canapes, as well as, receive the fantastic door gifts. There was the make-up demonstration by Siti, the make-up artist from Dior at the event. Ladies can learn tricks and tips on the art of make-up. Fashionably yours love the magic of make-up.




Fashionably yours love the Dior Addict High Colour so much that I bought the lipstick. The lipstick colour was chosen by Siti, the make-up artist. She is very nice and give valuable advise and helping me to chooose a nice colour to suit my skin tone, lifestyle and to match my eye shadow colours which fashionably yours wear most of the time.

Lovely Girls night out on town

Last Friday, met up with bestie after work at Isetan Scotts. She needs to collect her Estee Lauder products from Isetan Scotts. After which we shopped at Isetan Scotts for her shoes.....the Scholl shoes kinda of looks mature and too big for her, so pass. We stopped by the Fancl counter to collect fashionably yours complimentary new formula washing powder, which is only for prestige members. The salesgirl also gave the two of us a sample packet of the new formula washing powder.

We proceed to eat our dinner at the Soup Spoon Restaurant at The Paragon.

After we had our dinner, we went to Miu Miu boutique to send bestie's bag for servicing. Her Miu Miu bag's strap need some servicing, and it will take about 12 to 16 weeks because Miu Miu need to send the strap to Hong Kong for servicing. Roughly will cost her SGD30. They will call her to let her know the repair price before proceeding with the repair. They will proceed with the repair once bestie agreed to their quoted repair price only. We also browsed around Miu Miu boutique. Saw some dresses we like and it costs between SGD1500 to SGD3000.

Metro is having their 20% discount storewide and is opened till 2200 hour. Since we were there, so we decided to drop by to shop at Metro Paragon. Bestie bought a pair of black comfy Hush Puppies heels and fashionably yours bought the new L'oreal infallible lipstick, which is said to last up to 16 hour. Yet to wear it, so cannot comment much now. Will feedback after fashionably yours has worn it.

We had so much fun and laughters hanging out together. On our way home, we dropped by 7-11 to buy drinks. We drank the heaven and earth Chrysanthemum green tea. It is at selling 2 for SGD2.

Nice company, good food, lots of laughters and interesting conversation. All in all, a very lovely girls night out on town !

Spending for a good cause

Fashionably yours is spending for a good cause. October 2008 is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Encourage all women to go for their annual mammogram. Early dectection, Save Lives, Save Breasts. Fashionably yours bought the Clinique Buttershine Lipstick. It comes with a nice casing. For each item sold, SGD10 will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

New Lip stick

Was at Skin Food yesterday. They have some Great Singapore Sales promotions. Their lipstick is selling at 30% discount, so I bought one Candy Moist Rouge lipstick to try. The colour is nice and moisture to my lips. Recommended to try it out.
