Shoppings and Dinner
Thereafter we shopped at Wisma Atria. Fashionably yours bought some toiletries (masks and sunblock)from The Body Shop. Also bought a new blouse from my favourite Bebe boutique and two sexy long maxi dresses from a shop in basement 1.
We had dinner at our favourite restaurant - Royal Copenhagen at Takashimaya shopping centre level 2. The staff there recognise us since we are regulars there. It feels like we are at our 2nd home, feels very welcome, comfortable and warmth.
Click here for our dinner at Royal Copenhagen post and pictures
After we had our dinner, we continue shoppings at Takashimaya and Watsons. Fashionably yours bought some vitamins from Watsons before we call it a night and head home sweet home.
Feel very happy with my shoppings and dinner.

Hot, hot, hot weather
Feeling so so so sleepy today and I am glad I got through this Manic Monday.
The hot, hot, hot Great Singapore Sale is here. Time for more shoppings. The first few days saw lots of consumer rushed to the malls to shop to get good deals. As the GSS will last till July 2009, I think by July 2009, the crowds may not be there. Who has so much $$$ to spend for the whole period of GSS. Times are bad, so people are spending wisely to enjoy the discounts.
Just now fashionably yours passed by Gucci at Paragon. I think Gucci is having sales now so long quene was formed outside the boutique. I was thinking sometimes is it worth to quene up to buy such expensive branded goods, though after discounts some of the branded bags are still in the thousands series. For me I will not quene up to pay for such expensive items. I am spending money on expensive items, why should I quene up to pay for such expensive items. Louis Vuitton is another boutique whereby I often see long quene formed outside the boutique. I think I don't waste my time to quene up to pay for such expensive branded goods. Luckily my two favourite boutiques, that is Chanel and Hermes, have no long quenes. Thus shopping is such a breeze for me at my these two favourite boutiques.
Time to get ready for bed. Good night everyone and sweet dreams :)

Shoppings and Eating
Last Monday Books Kinokuniya has this 20% discount storewide, so dropped by to buy Her World magazine. A good buy because it has the Laneige skin care set free.
Wanton Noodle stall which we bought our noodle
There were long quenes at this stall.
Luckily when we bought our noodles, it was short quene My wanton noodle
very yummy
I know the GSS is here now and most of you would shop to enjoy the discounts. However please shop smart and wise, only buy the things you need. Don't just buy because it is cheap. Also always check the expiry dates of products you are going to buy.

Enjoying life
The week is kind of happening. Took afternoon leave last Thursday to visit my hairstylist for a new look, together with bestie. I had a hair cut, colour, highlight and treatment. It was very relaxing with the hair massage. Spent about 3 hours at the salon together with bestie, but kind of fun because we chat and laughed alot, though we felt kind of sleepy in between. Luckily we have each other to laugh and talk to, otherwise really can fall asleep during the hair session. I like my new hair style. After we were done with our hair session, we proceed to redeem some vouchers at the customer service counter since we spent a certain amount and entitled us to play spin the wheel game.
We had lots of fun spinning the wheels....spin and spin and spin....Then in total we have 28 tokens. I exchanged 13 tokens for a cute little yellow bear. While bestie exchanged the balance of the tokens for a rubic cube and a note pad.
We were so hungry after spinning the wheel, so we went to Ichiban Boshi at Suntec for Japanese dinner. Yes we love Japanese food. It was not crowded and no quene, so we were showed to our table once we reached the restaurant.
Both of us ate till very full. We asked the waitress will the fruits be watermelon as shown on the menu. She told us only oranges will be served instead of watermelon. I told bestie that they served us oranges instead of watermelons the last time when we dined there. I think they are cutting cost on the fruits because oranges are cheaper compared to watermelons. We would prefer to eat watermelons.
Actually Fashionably yours is supposed to be at the hottest party in town dancing now and not blogging here. I have complimentary VIP tickets to the hottest party in town. However due to my sore throat, I decided to stay home to rest and here I am updating my blog. I miss the party this time but never mind, I must recover asap so that I can go to the next party and dancing the night away.

McValue Lunch & SALES
Had McValue lunch together with Lemon-san at McCafe today. Love the french fries. Yummy.
After we had our lunch, we went to HMV at Heeren, Ferragamo Sales at Takashimaya shopping centre, Kinokuniya Bookstore and back to office to work. Wow ! we went to many places.
Was at HMV to check out some new and nice CDs. Lemon-san bought a CD. Along the way to Takashimaya, saw a long quene at Wellington Building. Many teenagers were lining up and I have no idea what they are queneing up for and I also did not ask them.
Currently there is a Ferragamo sales at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, at fourth floor. Fashionably yours is a fan of Ferragamo heels and shoes. I love Ferragamo heels. How can I miss it. It was crowded when I reached there. Many ladies were trying on shoes and heels. The handbags, wallets, shoes, heels and ties are on sales. Check it out my dear weblogders, if you happen to be around that area. I did not buy anything from the sales, because mostly the one I like do not have my size and some of the heels I want will never go on sale. Would need to drop by their boutique another day to check it out.
Thereafter Lemon-san said he wanted to go bookshop to browse magazines, so we went to Kinokuniya bookstore for a while. We left the bookshop empty handed though.
Wherever I go, fashionably yours saw the big red word SALES very often. It seems like the Great Singapore Sales (GSS) is here and I think it is SALES everyday, 365 days SALES. Though saw the SALES sign but most of the shops hardly have any customers. The malls are so quiet even on weekends. Talk to a few friends and they were saying, economy is bad now, most people are cutting cost, so nobody want to shop and the SALES do not attract them. Furthermore, the retailers might be clearing old stocks, because customers are cutting cost and not buying, so become too many stocks in their warehouse. Thus they need to clear old stocks, so that explained so many SALES going on.
I think Singapore is becoming a SALES city.....365 days SALES, shopping paradise, shop till you drop :)) Come everybody, spend your money here in Singapore.......many nice things to buy and we give lots of discounts. Oooops......sounds like confession of a shopaholic. Excuse me.

SHOPPINGS, IT SHOW 2009 & DINNER
Since fashionably yours need to clear leave, so I took afternoon leave on Thursday to meet up with Bestie, who was also on leave that day. There are so many SALES on going recently. We went to Isetan Private Sales. I bought my skin care products from Clarins and Fancl. It was not so crowded and doesn't seems like SALES was going on. The quene were not that long. Maybe times are bad that consumers are holding back purchases that even SALES are not that attractive anymore. Perhaps, times are bad now and retailers need to boost sales so they are having more SALES to attract shoppers.
My Clarins and Fancl skin care products
Thereafter met Bestie who was waiting for me at Kinokuniya. She reserved a book so went to collect it and also to enjoy my 20% discount for Kinokuniya Privilege Card member. Again, the quene to the cashier was not that long....so it was a breeze queneing up to pay for the book. Our next destination is Suntec City because we want to go to the IT Show. It was a hot afternoon, so we took a bus to Suntec City. Once we reached Suntec City, we went to the Bodyshop warehouse sales. Wow ! no quene to enter the warehouse and no quene to make payment at the cashier, though quite crowded at the sales.
My purchases from The Warehouse Sales
FREE gift for customers who spent above SGD50 at the Bodyshop Warehouse sales
My FREE gift - A Mascara
Finally we proceed to the IT show 2009
It was very crowded at the IT Show 2009 though it was just the first day. In fact, the whole Suntec City was very crowded and human jam. I am looking for a mini notebook and bestie is looking for a laser printer. We browsed and collected lots of brochures. After making our rounds, we discussed. I decided not to buy my mini notebook for the time being because I don't want to pay such a high price (about SGD700) for just simple function mini notebook with no built-in DVD drive and the screen is too small for me. The most I would be comfortable with is the 10 inch mini notebook. I still love my current HP Entertainment notebook, tablet pc though the battery life is short and need charging regularly. Well save me some money now. Maybe will consider to buy my mini notebook when the price drops a few month down the road. I like the Acer Aspire One AOD150 and the BenQ mini notebook. However not sure how stable is BenQ mini notebook. My dear weblogders, feel free to share with me your mini notebook experience on Acer and/or BenQ. Many Thanks.

Our green tea
Bestie's chocolate ice cream desserts
My tempura ice cream dessert
On Friday lunch hour, fashionably yours hit the malls again.....more retail therapy. Actually had tea with Lemon-san in the afternoon. Thereafter he was so sweet to accompany me shopping. Went to Isetan to buy my Fancl products using the Isetan rebate voucher, so help me to save some money. Bought the new formula MCO which just launched on Friday the 13th. I like the MCO which I find is very good to cleanse my make up.

Eye Infections on my left eye
Was prescribed some lotions and cream to apply by the doctor. Now I am feeling much better, though still tearing on and off. Guess it takes at least 3 to 4 days for it to fully recover.
I have to forgo all the sales on boxing day. Everywhere is having boxing day sales. It is alright, I save money by staying at home to nurse my left eye infections. There are SALES everywhere in Singapore almost throughout the year, so missing one or two is alright.

Open Concept Office & Retail Therapy
Besides working hard, of course the shopaholic in me cannot resist a good sales. Heard from people that there is a L'oreal Sales on 5 Dec 08 to 6 Dec 08 (2 days only). It is at Concorde Hotel (Formerly known as Le Meridien Orchard), level 3, from 10am to 6pm. Bought some Vichy cream, Matrix shampoo and conditioner. I left my bottle of Matrix shampoo and conditioner at the office. Will bring them home another day. It is one litre each and so heavy.
Sorry I have problems rotating them clockwise, so tilt your head to see them.
Bought Vichy products
My Ettusais night powder and FREE diary
After clocking long hours at work for the past few weeks and burnt my last weekend, thank God, I have finished most of my work by now. Just need to tie the loose end, touch up here and there plus prepare for shifting office. At least I don't have to work over this long weekend. I can rest and relax and have a good time with my friends over the long weekend. Looking forward to my long vacation to call it a year and wrap up my workings days for Year 2008. Holi, Holiday ! Holiday mood during the festive seasons. Hoping to shop more while I am on long vacation soon. But also need to rest during my long vacation after working so hard for the Year 2008. Most of my colleagues are on leave now and will only report for work on 2nd January 2009. Soon, it will be my turn......counting down.....
Have a wonderful long weekend everyone. I'm sure I will.....make sure you do too.

Isetan Private Sale - 25 Sep 2008
The 2nd part of the Isetan Private Sale was in the evening when I met up with Bestie to shop at Isetan Scotts. In fact, Isetan Scotts has more things and is more crowded compared to Isetan Wisma. Surprisingly the quene to the cashiers and to redeem our beauty vouchers was a breeze. The quene are moving fast and within 5 minutes, we are done with the payment and beauty voucher redemptions. It is less crowded and faster when you make payment nearer to 2200 hours when they are closing their store. However most goodies are gone by then because the early birds catches the worms......As we are only interested to buy skincare products and cosmetics, so we reserved our stuff earlier and we just grab and go, on the private sale day. Of course since we were there, we shopped around too, besides buying our reserved skincare products and cosmetics.
Crowds at the Fancl counter when we were there to collect Bestie's items
Bestie bought a pair of Americaya's white wedges.....it looks nice on her. It is worth buying using the beauty vouchers. We have some fun trying on shoes......I tried on a pair of shiny high heels that makes me look like a mamasan, working in a night club.....Have a good laugh over it.....Took pictures of it......here goes.......
I didn't buy this pair of high heels since I don't like it. Thus just for a laugh during our shopping spree. Kinda of mini entertainment huh.
Both bestie and I bought the Estee Lauder's Blockblaster set.

Click here for pictures of my blockblaster purchase.
Besides purchasing skincare products and cosmetics, we also bought stationery. The stationery are retailing at 20% discount on last Thursday only. I bought a nice notebook and some pens.
My sweet notebook

Sex and the city

I bought the Disposable Pilot Fountain Pen
The one used by Carrie in Sex and the city and
in real life, she is also using this pen
We shopped till the store is closing. When it was closed, we were still inside the store talking to our beauty advisor happily. I am very happy with my purchases, so is Bestie.....we went home smiling all the way happily.......All in all, a very enjoyable shopping spree Girls' night out on town.
