Hot Hot Hot Sunday

Today is the last day of February and also the last day of the Lunar New Year.  March onwards gonna be madness and stressful at work.  The peak period is coming again...all the things come together.  Well just have to breathe in breath out and do it, one thing at a time. 

Today is mad hot.  Even the water from the tap is hot.  It was really so hot that fashionably yours just don't feel like moving at all. I just want to sit still at one corner with the fan on and stoned there.  The heat is driving me crazy.  The weatherman said it is 35 degree celsius.  Hoping for some rain and breeze.  I can smell some burning smell in the air.  Hearing so many people saying that the haze is back.  Wondering how true it is, but fashionably yours did sneeze, has watery eyes and dripping nose since Friday night. All these has subsided by now.  I am allergic to dust and air pollution.  Hope the haze go away.

Just read the Sunday Times about Kids having spa massage, pedicure and manicure session.  I don't think the kids should go for all these treats.  It seems to rob them of their childhood and making them grow up faster.  Afterall the money the parents spent on these treats for their kids could have channel to some more worthy causes.  There are some kids in some countries who starves and yet the kids here are so pampered by all these treats.  I wouldn't recommend kids to do manicure, pedicure and massage, even if it is just for special occasion.  It is not appropriate and seems to be teaching them to be materialistic at such a young age.  They should be entitled to their kids world and childhood.  Afterall kids are innocent.  Parents should not expose the kids to such things at such a young age.  Just my 2 cents worth of opinion on it.

Alrighty enough said, gonna enjoy the rest of my lazy Sunday before Manic Mondaze.

Strawberries Sunday

Fashionably yours shopped happily at Holland Village Cold Storage on a lazy Sunday afternoon.  It was not so crowded and a breeze to make payments at the cashier.  Bought strawberries at SGD1.50 per punnet and each customer can only purchase up to 2 punnets per transactions.  Not many were left on the shelf while I was there.  Luckily I saw it and bought it.  Strawberry is my favourite fruit.  What is your favourite fruit ?

Productive Saturday

Fashionably yours spent the whole Saturday cleaning my house and my room happily. Very therapeutic. Thrown away alot of things to unclutter the clutter. I am expert in throwing things away. Throw, throw, throw, just throw away. A very productive Saturday, accomplished many tasks and very happy. Loving my cosy home, so spick and span now.

It is raining cats and dogs outside now while fashionably yours is blogging at this hour. I can feel the strong wind blowing. Nice and cooling weather to snuggle under the duvet. Nitey nitey and have a beautiful Sunday my dear weblogders

Lazy Sunday

It is a raining Sunday and the weather is so so so nice and cooling. Loving it. Love this type of nice and cooling weather when I am lazing at home, just doing what I wanna do. It is such a luxury to be enjoying this type of quiet and lazy Sunday. Yes my very own Me-Time, though get disturbances by the boy, my babyface, here and there. It is not that bad though. He is just too cute.

Yes we are now entering March 2009, which means fashionably yours is gonna be so busy for the next two months due to the Financial Year end closing and beginning of new Financial Year. Many reports to do and long long long working hours for me. Was grumbling to babyface about it and he is so good in consoling me, asking me not to think about it....soon May 2009 will be here. OK I know I am gonna be busy for the next two months which is a good thing in view of the bad economy now. Will not think so much about it, just do whatever I can and do my best. My colleagues are gonna be so stressed up by me too for the next two months....they will be avoiding me because it means lots of works for them from fashionably yours. Shoot shoot shoot emails to them.....make them panic and stressed up with tight deadline....do until they need to take panadol. Yes, that is how serious it will get....no kidding....tough job, not easy to work with me who has an eye for details and so strict with work.

It is still drizzling while fashionably yours is blogging now. Think nice weather to snuggle under the duvet tonight.....nice weather is making me getting more and more lazy....don't feel like getting up once lying down on my bed.

All in all a very lovely Sunday afternoon pampering myself at the comfort of my lovely home. I love all these me-time which is a luxury to fashionably yours. Worked 5 day week, so Sunday belongs to my own time. Everybody needs to have their own personal space to do the things they enjoy and also to recharge themselves before the work week begins on Monday.

My Lovely Sunday

My Sunday was kinda of suck initially because fashionably yours lappy was down. Fashionably yours was so moody. It was due to the vista unstability and it gave me the error message Interactive logon failed. Please check with event log, or something like that. I seek help of course with friends. Thanks to bestie and Billy for their help, that my lappy was up around 12 noon on Sunday. Then I was a happy girl blogging away and surfing the net using my lappy. Think it is a common problem with the vista operating system. Thanks bestie and Billy. Greatly appreciated.

On Sunday afternoon, went for retail therapy with bestie at Isetan Scotts. We bought lots of lingerie and I love my new sexy bra from Triumph. I bought so many Triumph products but they never offered me membership till yesterday that I finally become a Triumph member. It was worth the buy because Isetan Scotts have this promotion whereby for every SGD50 nett, customers are entitled to redeem a SGD5 Isetan voucher. So I redeemed SGD10 Isetan voucher yesterday. In fact, I have lots of Isetan vouchers so I paid using my Isetan vouchers and decided to use the balance amount in my receipt to redeem the new Isetan vouchers. I also earned triumph points since I am now a Triumph member. In fact, I had wanted to buy lingerie a few weeks back but due to my very very busy schedule, it was on hold till yesterday when bestie told me about the promotions, so we headed out for our lingerie retail therapy in the afternoon. Both of us are very happy with our lingerie purchases. Besides fashionably yours also bought 2 pens, a pink and black brown colour pen but I think I don't really like the pink colour because it was quite light. I want to buy another two pens tomorrow, maybe the maroon and purple one.

After we were done with our shoppings, our stomach were calling so we took the train to Clarke Quay for our dinner. Actually bestie wants to buy a Japanese Travel magazine but it was out of stock at Kinokuniya bookstore at Ngee Ann City, so we have to travel to Liang Court for the magazine since only Liang Court branch has the last copy. At the same time, can enjoy my card member 20% discount for the card member promotion for 3 days only from 24 Oct to 26 Oct 2008. We met bestie's two colleagues (Parrot man and Melissa) who are a couple at the station and they are also heading to the same place as us, so we chatted and ride on the train together.

When we reached Clarke Quay station, my Mr Big messaged me that he has just finished his training session and is going for dinner with his training friend. We almost wanted to meet up for dinner last night. Then my Mr Big said they are in shorts and flip flops so not coming to Clarke Quay for dinner, which is upscale according to my Mr Big. They wanted to eat at Bugis. We almost wanted to join them but eventually bestie and I decided to dine at Liang Court. Luckily we didn't join them at Bugis, otherwise we will miss the good food at Nirai kanai Okinawan Restaurant at Liang Court.

On a side note, Mr Big and his friend ate Thai food at Thai Place at Bugis while Bestie and I had Japanese food at Liang Court.

All in all, a very lovely Sunday for fashionably yours. Good food, good company and good retail therapy. We always have lots of fun and laughters when bestie and I went out. Yesterday was our Girls day and night out while my Mr Big had his boys day and night out. One thing for sure is I do miss my Mr Big though.....naughty boy !

JT : It is Friday again.
Me : Yeah I love Friday
TS : I don't like Friday because still must work on Friday.
Me : I love Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
JT : I like Saturday but Sunday seems to past so fast. Then it will be Monday again and must report to work.
TS : I like Saturday and Sunday
Me : Then let's make time stop on Saturday
TS : Better change the calendar to 3 Saturday, 3 Sunday and 1 Friday. Work 1 day only and rest 6 days.
Me : That will be nice and the ideal calendar

TGIF.......it is Friday again today..........Hurray ! the weekend is here...........looking forward to the weekend.............it is here now.............hahahaha.........
