Seems like everyone I know is gonna catch SATC2 the movie over this long weekend. Fashionably yours was invited for this SATC2 movie premiere gala on Tuesday but I declined to attend because my pedicure session is more important than this movie. Yes SATC is one of my favourite HBO TV series and been watching it. I watched SATC the first movie and somehow don't know why not so keen to watch this SATC2. I will catch it later on.
I have read many movie reviews on this SATC2. Alot of people commented the first one is better and some said the HBO series is the best. Some said SATC2 is like a fashion show for 2.5 hours *LOL* Feel free to share with me your review if you have watched it. Thanks.

Sex Addiction
Some updates on my last post on sex addiction. Dr Patrick Carnes found that sex addicts do not perceive themselves as worthwhile persons and that they believe sex is their most important need. According to Dr Carnes, there are various levels of sex addiction.
Level One behaviours are those that are regarded as normal, acceptable and tolerable, and these include masturbation, pornography, prostitution and anonymous sex.
Level Two behaviours are clearly victimising and usually prohibited by law, such as flashing, vulgar phone calls and indecent liberties.
Level Three behaviours are those that carry grave consequences for the victims and legal consequences for the addict. These include incest, molextation or rape.
Is sex addict a disease or just an excuse or obsessive compulsive disorder.
Signs of Sex Addiction
1. Failure to resist impulse
2. More time spent on the behaviour
3. Time spent in activity increases
4. Preoccupation with preparation to carry out this behaviour
5. Unable to fulfill other obligations due to behaviour
6. Continuing despite problems in other areas of life
7. Has to increase the intensity or frequency of activities to achieve the same desired effect
8. Giving up or limiting some other activities ofr sexual activity
9. Distress, anxiety, restlessness or irritability if unable to engage in the behaviour.
Perhaps seeking treatment at a rehabilitation centre and a psychiatrists may be able to treat the underlying causes of the compulsion.

My sweet pink Dior
Fashionably yours is airing my Dior bag and wallet this weekend. In our hot and humid weather, we must remember to air our branded bags and wallets frequently. Otherwise it will turn mouldy.

Courts at Orchard
Last time this building was occupied by John Little and now it is occupied by Courts. Courts just opened last Wednesday at Orchard. It was so crowded that I saw customers lined up early in the morning on last Friday even before they are opened.
My colleagues bought the all in one printer at SGD48 and HP mini netbook at SGD379. Yuan-san even bought an oven toaster at SGD20. Wow ! so cheap. However these offers was only on last Wednesday. They have many offers everyday. I did not buy anything though.

Sex Addiction
Is Sex addiction a disease ? How much sex is too much to consider as sex addiction ? How much sex is an obsession or needed to gain a certain high ? Is our society so stressful nowadays that alot of addiction sickness are created ? There are alcoholic, shopaholic, gamer addiction, gambling addiction and many more.
According to Dr Patrick Carnes, Sexual Addiction, like drugs, alcohol or gambling, people can become addicted to sex and the addiction ranges from internet sex to obsessive masturbation and of course, affairs after affairs.

My Retail Therapy and loving my birkenstocks
The horrible weather is so hot and humid of late. Finally it is raining now but seems too late for fashionably yours to take a short nap because is evening now. Updating some of my last week retail therapy. Actually just bought what I need to use. The Body Shop has a 30% discounts for their Star Loyalty Customers so I went to stock up my stuff. I always wait till their 30% discounts promotions, then I shop there unless I need the items urgently.

Remembering the late Dr Goh Keng Swee
Sad to hear the passing of the late Dr Goh Keng Swee, an old guard minister, from my colleague on last Friday morning at work. I don't know much about him because I am not from that era and he has retired from the cabinet during my growing up years. However have been reading alot about him these few days. He was one of the founders of PAP and has played a huge part to bring us to where we are today. Without him, there will be no JTC Industrial, Sentosa, Jurong Bird Park, as well as the the improvised education system. He is a very private man and doesn't like publicity. I think it is good to enjoy one's privacy which is priceless.
I read from papers that he will tear his tissue paper into half and save the other half for future use. We have the same habit. I also do that. Call me frugal but that is the way I use my tissue paper. Such a waste to use the whole piece at one go if we can save the other half for future use, when the circumstances permit. Unless you really need to use the whole piece of tissue paper at one go at your situation based on your own judgement. It is better to reduce, reuse and recycle and don't waste things. Be environmental friendly.

Beautiful Sunday
The weather is super hot nowadays and is as hot as up to 35 degree celsius. Thus making me sweating like mad most of the time. Thank God, it rained yesterday and today making the weather so nice and cooling. Loving it. I don't wish Sunday to end so fast especially with this nice and cooling weather.
Fashionably yours watched two movies this weekend. Yesterday I watched a Japanese movie Nada Sou Sou and today I watched an English movie Freaky Friday. Though they are old movies, I enjoyed watching it and so relaxing. Of course I managed to squeeze some time for a short afternoon nap in this nice and cooling weather just now. Such a luxury. Bliss.
Fashionably yours is so British at heart. I love drinking my hot cup of tea everyday. The other day, I bought Dilmah Elegant Earl Grey from my favourite supermarket at The Marekt Place at The Paragon.
I think it would be so romantic to ride on a horse carriage on one's wedding. Hmm....so the princess and the prince live happily ever after. OMG ! I am starting my once upon a time......live happily ever after story.

Working weekend
It has been a very hectic week for fashionably yorus. So much work to do and have been working non stop even working with an injured bleeding left ear. The doctor gave me 2 days mc on Wednesday and Thusday to rest but gotta work from home to rush out my reports.
Yesterday worked till about 2100 hour in the office and continue to work from home till 3.30am. Today again continue working till just now about 1800 hour. Today is 1st of May, Labour day. Indeed I am labouring at home, working so hard. Thank God I managed to finish my tasks on hand. The rest to be continued at work next week in the office. Now time for me to rest and relax to enjoy my weekend. I am putting on a Vitamin E facial mask while blogging now.
I don't have Monday off but my company will give us off-in-lieu to make up for this Saturday Public Holiday, which fahsionably yours can take within a month. Yippee, now I have an extra day of annual leave. OMG ! it is already May 2010, time flies so fast this year. Day in, day out, rush here, rush there and first quarter year of 2010 has passed.
Wishing everyone a Happy May Day and a nice weekend.
