Last day of June 2008 - 30.6.2008

Time flies when you are having fun. Time flies too when you are not having fun. As the saying goes....time and tide wait for no man. Today is the last day of June 2008 and the last Monday of June 2008. We have walked through the 1st half of the year 2008. Perhaps time for some reflections on what you have done and what are the things not accomplished and need to review.

So far so good for me........nothing much to complaint. Counting my blessings. Just live simply. I am happy with what I have. One of the secrets to happiness in life is contentment. Thank God for Everything and his blessings to me Amen.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever (1 Chronicles 16:34)

Fantabulous weekend

I had a fantabulous weekend. Finally I have time to myself to do the things I wanna do but no time to do. What did I do ? Nothing, Absolutley nothing........hahaha.......actually done alot of things.

Mangaed to catch up on my beauty sleep, tidied up my room, reconciled my financial statements and what else.......of course my favourite activity, that is blogging......finally can have time to update my blog.

Thanks to all my weblogders who have been supporting me all the while, so I must update my blog regularly

Well, have done quite alot of retail therapy the last few weeks........I love shoppings and can never get tired of it. Be it GSS or no GSS, I will shop happily. Last week I bought my
Ferragamo Shoe and My Miu Miu Bow Satchel Bag. I love my Miu Miu bag and my Ferragamo shoe. I think I have bought two pairs of Ferragamo shoes for two months consecutively. I am such a Ferragamo fan.

While I was on my way to collect my Ferragamo shoe last Friday, I passed by Coach boutique at Ngee Ann City. I almost bought a Coach bag. I like the small Coach bag but decided to wait for the next End of Season sale to grab the bag, provided it is still available by then.

I dropped by Loewe boutique too on last Friday. I like the Loewe Amazona black handbag. I also almost wanted to buy it but it reminds me of my LV black epic handbag so I give it a past this time round. Perhaps some other time then.

I saw a pair of Ferragamo
Varina flat at the Ferragamo boutique last Friday. I wanted the red hot pair but it didn't have my size I think it is beautiful. Now considering other colours.........I am also lemming for a pair of Christian Loubotin. Since I injured my tendon on my left foot, I am not able to wear my 4 inch high heels, so now I have to wear either flats or low heels. My girlfriend keep telling me it is better to wear flats or low heel because it is safer to walk and give better support to our body compared to my 4 inch high heels.

Guess girlfriends are the best. They give good advices, support, encouragements, suggestions and always so understanding. I love all my best girlfriends, though we may not get to meet often due to our own busy schedule but we still make time for each other, as well as contact via online and through our blog(s) updates. That is the amazing of modern technology.

Cheers to our friendships

Cake and wine

Enjoyed eating my mango mousse cake and drinking my red wine last night. Yummy !

Life is beautiful. Cheers :)

Spending for a good cause

More shoppings for me over the weekends. However it is spending for a good cause. Bought some cosmetics and products from The Body Shop.

Since The Body Shop supports community trade. It means that by buying their products, it gives financial independence to women in the third world countries. These women will have a chance to take care of their families and send their children to school.

Gourmet for Olive oil and white wine

I am shopping for a good bottle of extra virgin olive oil to dip bread and to go with my salad. Anyone can recommend me a good bottle and also where to get it ?

I would also like a bottle of white wine to go with my bread and salad, so anyone can recommend me a good bottle of white wine too and where to buy it ?

Thanks

New Lip stick

Was at Skin Food yesterday. They have some Great Singapore Sales promotions. Their lipstick is selling at 30% discount, so I bought one Candy Moist Rouge lipstick to try. The colour is nice and moisture to my lips. Recommended to try it out.

Magazines and LeSportSac pouch

Bought these magazines last night.

I bought them using my Kinokuniya card, so entitled to 20% discount. I love to read fashion magazines. The Vanilla July 2008 issue come with free make up pouch.

I also bought a pouch from Isetan at 50% discount. I have one LeSportSac pouch and I like it so much that I decided to buy another one since it has 50% discount. I am so KPO. When I do my shoppings I also chit chat with the sales associates and even can dig information out from them about their personal life, eg. their BGR problem and where they stayed, etc......basically can chit chat with them anything under the sun. I think they are also happy to chat with me.

Zara Sales

Went to Zara sales during lunch time and met a few of my colleagues there too. We were all busy doing lunch time shoppings at Zara, Ngee Ann City on their first day of sales. It was crowded but the quene to the fitting room is moving fast. I quened up for about 5 to 10 minutes before I can try out the clothings. Bought one short pink dress which I can pair it with a black tight. The sales is up to 30% discount.

I am happy with my purchases.

What's Your EQ ?

Your EQ is 147

You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.

You are warm and open. Even when life gets you down, you're unafraid of the world and its challenges.

You are comfortable with who you are. And you accept your weaknesses - as well as the weaknesses of others.

While you are quite stable, you don't respond perfectly to every bad situation that comes up.

But you have enough emotional intelligence to know when you need a course correction.

Funny Me The Princess

Last evening went shopping with Eva-san. She bought her cutie mousie Braun Buffel pouch and a small black pouch from Radley at Isetan Scotts. She wanted to use them as her lunch time bag. Both are nice and cute. Think she is happy with her purchases.

Actually she wanted to buy a white blouse but still did not manage to find a white blouse that she fancies. We have been shopping around for a while together since last Friday and to no avail. However we bought lots of cosmetics and skin care.

After our shoppings at Isetan Scotts last evening, we went to eat dinner at MOS burger. Funny thing happened at MOS burger. We ordered the chilli dog value meal. I changed the drinks to clam chowder soup and have ice water. After I ordered the food, the crew member asked me to wait for my chilli dog and they will bring it to my seat. So I went back to my seat to drink my clam chowder soup, while waiting for them to serve me my chilli dog.

While drinking my clam chowder soup, the crew served me my chilli dog shortly. Then I realized they did not give me any serviette, so I asked him to bring to me some serviette. I happily ate my chilli dog and realized that I am running out of chilli sauce for my French fries. I wanted to wave to the crew to bring me some more chilli sauce. Then I hesitated and asked Eva-san. Our conversation :

Me : I need some more chilli sauce, do I ask the crew to bring me some ? or go to the counter to take myself ?
Eva : This is MOS burger, we don’t pay service charge. You must go to the counter to take chilli sauce yourself. This is not restaurant. You really are princess, everything must serve to you.

Then both of us laughed. I find that I am so funny, what a question to ask. I did not go to the counter to take some more chilli sauce because Eva-san has one extra packet of chilli sauce, so I just use that. I think I too long did not go to eat fast food, so forgot all about self service. Still thinking I am dining at restaurant (tongue sticking out) and everything served by the waiters and waitresses. Funny me !

Tai tai lifestyle

OMG ! cannot believe it. The weekend is over just like that. Had an enjoyable and wonderful weekend.

Took the afternoon off on last Friday to rest and relax over food and shoppings with Eva-san. It was a Girls day out for a good spin in town....It is kind of tai tai lifestyle taking our own sweet time.
