Movies

It is a rainy Saturday and fashionably yours is so loving this nice and cooling weather.  Nicer to sleep in this type of weather.  Just now I had a yummy cream of mushroom soup.  Such comfy food for a rainy day.

Yummy Cream of mushroom soup
from Marks and Spencer
Ma ma mia
Yesterday I had my favourite soya beancurd

Have been on a movie maranthon recently. Watching one movies after another.  Yesterday I watched Aladin. So funny and I laughed alot.  Rubbed the lamp, genie appeared and can grant you 3 wishes.  If the genie appeared infront of you, what 3 wishes will you wish for ?

Today I watched Eden.  A show about relationship between a married couple who have been married for 10 years.  Getting into a relationship is easier than maintaining the sparks in the relationship.  It needs lots of efforts from both parties.  Lots of communication, understanding and trust are important ingredients in a relationship.

Sometimes watching movies can get one thinking out loud.  Besides entertaining, it is good the movies can let one reflects about life.  Or maybe it is just me who like to analyse things and see things beyond the surface.

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter *hugs*

Relationships between Men and Women

I simply don't understand some people at times.  How can  they get in and get out of a relationship so fast.  Are they serious or just player in a relationship ?  I see some people fall in love so fast and the next moment they are out of love.  The next few moments they have hooked up with someone else.  I happened to know someone who was still in the midst of processing his divorce but have already found a new girlfriend.  It is absolutely fine to date but don't you think one should give himself or herself some time to get over a relationship before they date someone new.

From my encounter, I find men are the one who need companion more than women. Men can't wait to find a new partner or rather they need someone to satisfy their sex drive soonest possible.  I just feel that breakups are hard and hurting so in order not to get anyone hurt, it is better to be sure before leaping and commiting into a new relationship.

It is good to date to get to know each other better before progressing further.  It is a wonderful feeling to fall in love, to love and to be loved.  On the other hand, falling out of love is so heartaching.  Seems like men are the one who will linger on the past relationships and find it hard to let go and move on, compared to women.  Women are the stronger sex in terms character. They get over a relationship faster than men generally.  Let go and move on.

If you met someone you really like and think you wanna spend the rest of your life with him or her, go after your happiness by all means.  Good Luck.

Feel free to share your point of view, if any, no hard feelings.  Thanks.

Fashionably yours got picked up again............

Fashionably yours was at Holland V just now and got picked up again.

He : Do you know where is the nearest ATM ?
Me : Over there (turned around to point to the windmill mall direction).
He : Thanks. How do I address you ?
Me : It's alright
He : I am Alvin. Do you have a handphone no. whereby I can reach you ?
Me : It's alright.

I walked off after that. I think this Alvin must be very disappointed by my reply. Generally I don't give men whom I don't know, my contact no. If they are interested to get to know me, they could give me their contacts and/or name card. I will get in touch with them if I am keen to get to know them.

Anyway fashionably yours is so used to got picked-up by men and oh so many times. They are so interesting with different types of picked-up lines.

Do you jump immediately into a new relationship after ended one ?

How long do you need to get over a relationship before you embark on a new relationship ? A few days to a few years ? I think one should not embark on a new relationship immediately after ended one. One should take some time to do some reflections before moving on to a new relationship. I know some people will simply jump to another new relationship once their old relationship has ended. This type of situation might be because there is already an exisitng third party involved even before their current relationship has ended. However if there is no existing third party involved, I feel that one should take some time to do some reflections and soul searching before moving on to another new relationship. There is no hard and fast rules as to how much time one need to be alone to get over a relationship before embarking into another new relationship. I think as long as the individual has met the right person at the right timing at the right place, he or she should go for it. However it is best not to be involved in another new relationship immediately after ended one. At least have a short break to reflect before moving on. Also to give yourself some time to get to know the new person in order not to make the same mistakes or make the mistakes of treating that new person as a substitute for your ex-partner, which is not fair to her or him.

Well that is my take on relationships turn around time on embarking a new relationship after ended old relationship with ex-partners. Feel free to share your opinon and comments, no hard feelings. Thanks.

Love or Money ?

In a relationship, as a woman will you fall in love with a man because :
1) both of you are in love with each other but he is not financially stable or
2) will you love a man because he is financially stable

Fashionably yours feel that we cannot survive on love alone. Definitely need money to survive in our society. Guess financially stable is part of the love package. Most men have their ego. They would want to provide for their women such as buying nice Valentine's gifts for their women, dinner and so on....Sometimes I ever heard women comparing notes with their girlfriends such as "Oh my hubby bought me this, this and that for me." After their comparing notes session is over, they might go home to feedback to their hubby "Oh so and so hubby bought this and that for her, how come you did not buy for me ?" Sometimes it is not the hubby did not buy for them, but is just they have different financial statements.

Now the economy is bad and so many people are losing jobs and facing some financial problems, especially those with commitments, such as children's education, housing loans and car loans.....All these in terms might cause quarrels among couples dealing with the money issues now. The couples would need to priorities their commitments and recession-proof their relationships. Often I see couples and families quarrel over money issues and caused many unhappiness.

I don't think I will fall in love with a man who is not financially stable. I am a very pratical person....financially stable is part of the love package for me. Of course personality is also an important issue. If he is financially stable but no personality, then sorry it is a no go......I believe love can be cultivated. If the man I love is not financially stable, how can he afford to support my lifestyles. I am better off myself than to open a can of worms and take on additional problems.

Thank God, so far the men I fell in love with are financially stable and high flyers....I know what I want and what Iam looking for in a man.

What is your take ? Feel free to share your view, no hard feelings:) Cheers :))
