Catching up on my latest happenings

Hi Everybody
How are your doing out there ?  Hope all of you are doing well.  Have not been updating my blog frequently these few months.  This is because fashionably yours is very very busy with both work and personal.  It is gonna be madness for the next few months for fashionably yours.


As usual, year end is always a very busy period for me at work.  Besides I am very busy packing because will be shifting to a new place soon to begin a new chapter in my life. 


Fashionably yours is still shoppings and having lots of fun in my life besides busy with shifting house matters.  Of course recently I have to do lots of packing.  I am packing like mad and have tons to pack.  Need to apply lots of annual leave to stay at home to pack too.  I really hate packing.  Later I will say I hate unpacking.  Oh well part and parcel of shifting house I guess.  I also threw away lots of old and unwanted junks. One good thing about shifting house is one can unclutter and throw away all the old and unwanted junks.  Anyway I am so stressed up.

Lady Gaga Lil' Monster Go Gaga

Fashionably yours was at the Lady Gaga Lil' Monster Go Gaga event at Comcentre on last Monday.  It was so crowded.  Early in the morning, there were lines forming at the event.  I like a lot of Lady Gaga's songs.  My favourite are Edge of Glory, Alexadro and Papparazi. 

Below are pictures at the event.  All the contestants were given tickets to Lady gaga showcase on 7 July 2011 at MBS.   My friend won the tickets through a lucky draw because he was one of the top ten who downloaded lady gaga's songs from SingTel Amped.  He also met lady gaga up, close and personal for a greet the fans session last Friday at MBS suite.

This pouch is very soft and can put alot of stuff, eg. my sony ericsson xperia arc smartphone, credit cards, cash and coins.   Thumbs up. Most important I love this chilli red colour.

It is a plastic bowl, so I am not using it to microwave my food

Just using it to put fruits.  I only use those microwaveable china to microwave my food

Red bean potong ice cream



Fashionably yours don't need to eat expensive food to be happy. A simple red bean potong ice cream can make me a happy girl.  As long as the food are cheap, tasty, hygenic and healthy is good enough for me. Some hotels and restaurants are charging exorbitant prices yet their food taste horrible and bad customer services.

Fashionably yours has been telling my colleagues that I want the purple and pink coke can glass from MacDonald since the promotions started.  Different week has different colour promotions.  When we upsize our value meal, the coke can glass will be given to us free.  I already have the pink coke can glass a few weeks ago. 

Yesterday was the last day for the purple coke can glass promotions.  Fashionably yours went to their Centrepoint and Heeren outlets during lunch hour but was sold out.  I was so disappointed and told myself maybe it was not meant for me to collect the purple coke can glass. 

Went back to office to work in the afternoon after lunch.  Then I walked around the office and told my close buddies that both the outlets I went to has sold out the  purple coke can glass.  Suddenly we saw there is one purple coke can glass on another colleague's table.  I approached him and he said he can give it to me. He doesn't want it.  OMG fashionably yours was overjoy and so happy.  Yeah thank God for answering my prayer.

I wanted the purple coke can glass and seek it in my own ways but was to no avail.  God has better plans for me.  God gave me the purple coke can glass through this wonderful angel at work.  Sometimes we cannot get the things we want in life in our own ways.  This is because God has better plans for us.  He knows what is good for us including our wants and needs.  Let me share these bible quotes here :

Presenting my Purple coke can glass

Xperia Arc

Fashionably yours bought my new smartphone Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc at the PC Show on 9 June 2011.  So far I love my new smartphone.  I have 12GB of data plans and doubt I can reach 12GB of usage.  The first thing after I bought my smartphone is to buy an anti-glare screen protector.  Then I bought a casing for it.  

Well, I have installed whatsapp on my smartphone and downloaded some music on it.  Of course I tweet too and it is so much easier tweeting on a smartphone.  The camera and video functions are fantastic. It has 8.1 megapixels and the pictures are very sharp and clear.  The videos are High Definition quality.  The sound system is good.  What smartphone are you using now ?

Great Singapore Sales

The Great Singapore Sales (GSS) has started so have you started your shoppings.  Fashionably yours aka the shopping queen and shopaholic has been shopping non stop at Orchard Road since the GSS preview sales.  Bought my Clarins skincare, a pair of fitflop, an aloe vera memory contour foam pillow, some toiletries and some household items.  I bought what I need.  Must spend wisely and not buy it just because it is on sales.   What have you bought from the GSS ?  feel free to share with me.

Chanel summer collections 2011

Fashionably yours love Chanel and is a Chanel fan.  Love at first sight and fallen in love with the Chanel Summer Collections 2011. Bought Les 4 Ombres Lilium eyeshadow quad. Have been using Chanel eyeshadow for years and loving it.  Thumbs Up.
